The ugly elephant in the room is that Datsyuk looked old tonite.
 
There, I said it.

I was thinking the same thing while watching last night's game.  He was at 3/4 speed all night except for a few takeaways on the forecheck.  I hope for our sake he was playing with an injury and not playing with a lack of heart.

Good news? Wings have been great in OTs this post season.


Bad news....the Hawks own us in OT during the regular season.  However I still predict Nyquist with the winner.

Except for the fact both of the teams will be in our division next year so I doubt they'll want to trade with us. We've got to start building friendships with past rivals.


That would be a fun voicemail....

My wife left the room about 10 min ago because I "looked very angry".  I'm sure Holland has that same look....but he has a lot more $ in his checking account, because he chose to spend none of it.
