I don't get all the kesler love.  It seems like he makes an ass of himself every time we play the 'nucks.  I remember him saying something to the tune of kronwall should have to fight if he's going to be throwing big hits.  Keep in mind, he even said that the hit wasn't dirty, but kronwall should answer for it anyway.  Plus, kesler said he was an avalanche fan, living in livonia.  We all remember those kids from school, they were little d-bags.

Doesn't it feel good to feel good?   There's been so much negativity around here.  Let's just enjoy this wild ride that is the playoffs.  

It's not all stats.  When franzen is playing like this, of course he's a bargain.  It's just frustrating when he's not producing.  We know he can do better.  And when he's playing like s***, it just looks like he doesn't care.  If franzen makes up for it by doing this every year, he will be forgiven time and time again.  But, when he is floating early on in the season, he should expect to get some grief in the court of public opinion.  

I'm absolutely ecstatic that he's turning it around.  I just think it's a little disingenuous to pretend like he doesn't play like garbage for several games at a time.

Edit: I'm just thinking of all the grief clearly gets because he has no talent.  The thing about clearing is that he busts his ass. I think it reflects worse on franzen because he is capable of doing better.  He just doesn't try.

For real, there's no comeback to that.  Doan bothers the hell out of me, but I have to give him props for doing research.  That's how trash talk is done.

Is it just me or did howard mess up big time tonight? There is no consistancy with Howard and if we don't make it to the playoffs, he is the biggest reason, in my opinion. He does good like every other game. That does our team little good.

We are 16-0-2, when we have three or more goals.  The guy can't score.  I'm sorry, but you're flat out wrong if you blame jimmy for this abomination of a season.

That I won't disagree with.  The people freaking out are overreacting.  Jimmy has been consistently solid since he struggled early. I won't bury him over a bad goal.

Indeed.  Murph has been quite open about his battle with dollar-dog addiction.  

Can we keep the talk about Murphy's alleged alcoholism to a minimum? I know it doesn't really violate any forum rules, and it's just an honest discussion, but we have no indication whatsoever that he has a drinking problem.  For all we know he's a teetotaler.  I'd hate to see LGW become known as the forum that dragged Larry Murphy's name through the mud for no reason whatsoever.
 
I feel like the speculation started out innocently enough, but it's picked up some steam and it's suddenly become no longer speculation.

For real.  You would think Murph has had a couple of Mel Gibson moments from the way people around here talk about him.  The way I see it is there is nothing that suggests anything other than the fact that murph is just awkward on camera.
