    2012 World Ice Hockey Championships

Looking forward to the Champs. What's the TV coverage like where you guys are? Over in the UK we currently have an enormous 0 minutes scheduled, which is nice?!

Babs calls out Kenny, sort of!

Parise is the name that most people I have spoken to think would do a job for us. He is the right side of thirty and has carried over his form into the post season, something that you'd have difficulty saying for a lot of our guys. As Red Crazy says five changes could see us going back in the right direction. Parise and and a D-man of the ilk of Suter/Weber who goes about his job quietly and efficiently without feeling the need to tear about being a banger would compliment our existing lines (easier to say than actually achieve I know!). I haven't really been too impressed with Kindl's performances when I have seen him in comparison to Smith but one of those guys being given a chance along with Nyquist getting more ice time next year could work well with the salary cap in mind. It's going to be a really interesting off season. Lets hope Holland has the inclination to make some real changes. If not I'll still be up at 3 in the morning cheering them on though.

WCQF Game Four GDT : Predators 3 at Red Wings 1

This is my first post so first of all hello to everybody from Good Old Blighty. Secondly and most importantly I'm going Wings3-1. We really need to capitalise on the periods of pressure we have managed put on them like in the third in the game just gone. In another game I would not have been shocked if we had turned them over by five or six but at the moment they seem to be getting the lucky bounces, surely that cannot continue? On the other hand some of the daft penalties that we are giving away are the sort that you'd expect a team with lesser experience to be giving up. Irrespective of what some people may claim the Bertuzzi dance-off brought nothing to an end and rather than concentrating on the Predators targeting of Hank (see Tootoo's cheap shot on Sunday) we should be concentrating on our own game and stealing a break on the line match ups whilst we have home advantage. Hope anybody going to the game has a great time, I have 2013 earmarked as my year for a trip to the Joe!
