Jimmy has done more than enough in the good times and the bad times for this team for me to 1. Have trust in him as a fan and 2. Believe that he is an upper echelon goalie in this league.  He deserves a raise at the end of the year and he will get one. Hopefully it's with us..if not he will be a starting goalie somewhere else.

I hope he goes elsewhere if he gets more money.  If we are going to pay 5 mil for a goalie, we are not going to be able to afford an upgrade at #1 D and #1 Sniper.  We need those desperately.

To those who say don't be down on Sammy, because Cleary is worse.. When the Wings have players like Tartar and Nyquist in GR and these two useless fossils taking up oxygen on the big club, there is a problem. This year should have been the youth movement, not the reunion tour.

The good new is Sammy and Bert are signed up next year too!!  All we gotta do is bring back Cleary now.  Who needs young, fast, exciting players?  Overrated.

Defending Matt Cooke is so ridiculous.  Once every 5 year accidents seem to happen with Matt Cooke twice a year.  How much is enough.

Yep, lots of examples of why this guy certainly deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Why is this guy in the NHL.  Lemieux cried and wimpered his whole career over a the b.s. scrubs mucking up the game.  Now he gainfully employs the biggest piece of dung the NHL has seen since Marchment.  Puts me like Lemieux less.

Why would he construct a line of Nyquist Filppula Abdelkader? Two perimeter playmakers/passers and a guy who belongs on the 4th line, rediculous.

Babs benches the 3rd and 4th lines when things go wrong and we get down.  Im not a fan of this.  Im mor a fan of sitting the grinder (Abdelkader) on the 3rd line and fighter (Tootoo) on the 4th line and double shifting your 2 best guys (Zetts, Dats).  Noone is saying "why is Z playing so much?" right now.  People are wondering why Cleary is playing so much.

Pretty soon, Nyquist will be top 6 by attrition!!!

Can we just steal uninjured parts from all of the injured players and make a Frankenstein?

I dont know why each team doesnt have one guy to knock Matt Cooke completely out of commission.  That guy is such a piece of crap.

Babcock has to play the guys Holland signs, so I dont point the finger at Babs too much.  We have a trio of old softies (Bertuzzi, Cleary, Samuelsson) that need to be axed.  But the coach cant just make the GM look bad.  Babs has to play who Kenny brings in.  If Babs has a big part in those signings, then thats another story.

Waive Daniel, please. I don't want to wait until the offseason.

Babcock is all about "trying to get people going".  Remember two years ago when Hudler just got back from Russia and scored 10 goals (or something) after playing all year on the second line, and only being a healthy scratch once or twice.  Meanwhile, Miller and Eaves put up 13-15 goals apiece that year despite being the healthy scratch every other night.  All season long it was the same story, "we've got to get Hudler going".  Nevermind the guys who "have been going" since the opening season puck drop. 

Exactly.  F Cleary.  Get someone else in there.  The experiment is over.
