#2606660 WCSF : (6) Minnesota Wild vs. (5) Chicago Blackhawks

Posted by WingsAlways on 08 May 2015 - 12:00 AM

Presenting the Minnesota Wild. Your free pass to the Western Conference Finals ™

If Minnesota had an elite scorer and top pairing defenseman they'd be dangerous.

Oh wait.

Holy hell.
5-0 halfway through the second.

Quick Cooper, tears...now!

Suspend Subban for game 5 because we all know the Bolts play better against teams with suspended dmen.

#2606467 Call Out the NHL on BS

Posted by WingsAlways on 07 May 2015 - 02:49 AM

Repeated blows to the head can cause addiction problems, and depression...
So your biggest factor is caused by blows to the head, which does need to be studied more, but they're finding out a lot quicker than they expected, especially with all the brains they're being donated that have cte.

So its all the same homes.

The opioid painkillers themselves can cause depression and a complete change of character. I know I felt like crap on them after my surgeries, I would rather feel the pain. These guys are prone to broken bones because that's what they get paid for, I guess the million dollar question would be is it head trauma that's responsible for the downfall of the enforcer types or the lack of need for those types of players in the evolving NHL that lead to the spiraling out. When you go from making six figures to working normal everyday jobs that has to play a part in depression as well.

It's a sad situation nonetheless and I hope the studies pan out.

I just think it's funny how all the "Go Habs" posts have just stopped appearing on my Facebook timeline

I know it doesn't matter, but I really wish my road jerseys were still home jerseys.

What a senseless change.

#2604741 ECQF Game 7 GDT : at Lightning 2, Red Wings 0 (Tampa wins series, 4-3)

Posted by WingsAlways on 29 April 2015 - 10:36 PM

Who really thought we'd make it this far and cause Tampa Bay's coach to throw a media hissy fit? Most didn't expect us to make the playoffs... It was one hell of a year and I'm looking forward to next year.

I could complain and nit pick but I'm not even going to sweat it. It's going to be a long Summer but I'm looking forward to July. We're going further next year.

Go Wings!

and yeah

Go Habs.

#2598157 ECQF Game 3 GDT : Lightning 0 at Red Wings 3 - DET Leads series 2-1

Posted by WingsAlways on 21 April 2015 - 10:03 PM

man i think we would spank the habs, that d is terrible and we are superior down the middle

Our offense would really have to get in high gear to take on the Habs, we would need more than Datsyuk and Glenny scoring.

Mad respect to Dave Cameron for standing up and speaking out, I'd be pissed off too over the Stone injury. I hope the Sens make it painful.

#2593300 Why so negative?

Posted by WingsAlways on 14 April 2015 - 10:14 PM

I remember when Ozzy was never good enough, Hasek was a has-been, Yzerman was washed up with a bad knee, Fedorov was a money grubbing prima donna, Chelios was too old, same for Fetisov, Larionov was too frail and fragile, Shanahan was getting too soft, these new kids Zetterberg and Datsyuk weren't ever going to fill the shoes of the heroes before them.

Man...those were the days.

#2593267 Why so negative?

Posted by WingsAlways on 14 April 2015 - 08:06 PM

It wouldn't matter if we finished 1st in the division we would still be the underdogs, that's just how it works. It's hip to hate the Red Wings now, sadly even among some of our own fans.

The only question is: How do you solve a problem like Mrazek?

With a contract.

Mrazek plays like he wants the shutout today. I like.

By shutout he means starting job.

Yeah just spelled it wrong.
