That's ok...we'll give Boychuk the green light to take nail your 2 starts...oh wait...Z's out so we'll nail Dat's and Nyquist. You'll see what it's like to be the Eastern Conference version of the Nashville Preds...1st round bounce.
Easy now...I'm sure it won't be long until we see a stupid hit from Kronwall. I don't like that Lucic did this either. It's the playoffs and the league hates to suspend a team's best player in the playoffs, though there is some precedence. Every team has had this done to a player in the playoffs for decades. Teams are so use to it it's not funny. So Lucic is the first player in the history of the NHL to take his stick to another player’s sack? DD should send a check today for the next game retaliation. Pay it in advance. $5,000 is chump change, Lucic can make that $5K back in 2 shift’s . Next time he should check into the boards. It’s not a head shot…all DD has to do is put some ice on his sack and move on….he’s only making a AHL salary.
i would love for you to find a dirty hit from kronwall, he may have some "borderline" hits, but they are all within the boundaries still, and all legal. just cause you don't like them doesn't make them dirty. Kronwall has never blatently sacked a guy, and it wasn't even the first time for lucic
also DD never played in the ahl, (aside from the lockout and after we got knocked out last year) he has an nhl contract, he may not be making $6m/year like that spot picking thug on your team, but he is still on his first ever contract, and will be making significantly more next year
Agreed. Lucic is a POS for a move like this. But the Wings shouldn't engage the Bruins. That's exactly what Boston is hoping for.
In the playoffs the best way for this Wings roster to deal with a rat like Marchand and dirty player like Lucic is not to respond to all to their cheapshots.
Actually I saw on the Bruins forum that they are all Pissed at our "turn the other cheek" method and they want us to fall into their trap. It's even getting under the fans skin as well as the players. Keep doing what you're doing wings
I was just thinking. When was the last time the wings went 160 minutes without being scored on? 8 consecutive shutout periods started in the second period of the Carolina game. Good sign of things to come I hope.
Actually it wasn't, which makes it so much better lol. I guess no suspension and a miniscule fine, means we should let franzen go spear all their players in the junk now. Because hey the ends justify the means. And it's the intentional pun cup
Funny to think about it, but he outplayed Rask. He looked never shakey and he timed his creast-leavings better than Rask. He was plain and simple the better goalie. I'm a great fan of him but I never thought that would happen.
Rask was by no stretch bad, he played awesome as well, credit where it's due.
I think you mean a partner that could cover up his errors.
Isn't that what your defense partner is supposed to do, especially if you're young and still prone to mistakes? I think it has been a great pairing Lids did it for Kronner now Kronner does it for Smith
