    Getting a captain's C stitched

Thanks guys. Unfortunately I am not near Saint Clair Shores nor Wyandotte, as I am a student in Ann Arbor and I am originally from Novi. Anyone have a location close to these?

    Getting a captain's C stitched

I recently bought a Zetterberg jersey on Amazon. I have been happy with the product, but it did not come with the captain's "C" stitched on it. I was wondering what would be the best place to do so. I have heard that at the Joe that you can purchase a "C" and stitch it on yourself, but seeing that I have no such skills, I am looking for a place that can provide and stitch the C on for me. Anyone have any pointers? I'm sure this has been brought up before, and I apologize for that. Thanks!

    Stamkos vs Tavares

Defensively, who is considered the superior player? I have heard conflicting arguments for both players.

    Stamkos vs Tavares

I want to make it clear that we are not getting either guy. This is purely hypothetical. It has been mentioned quite a bit that the Wings do not have a future #1 center in the pipeline. A Datsyuk, Crosby, Toews, Getzlaf, Staal, or Bergeron caliber guy. If the Wings had the choice of Steven Stamkos or John Tavares, and could get one of the two through a trade, who would you go with? It is a tough choice. Personally, I would go with Tavares, as he has been able to carry a team without someone like Martin St. Louis next to him, and has shown to be less injury prone. But the Wings couldn't go wrong with either guy. Again, it's not happening. Even if the Wings offered 5 first round picks, Nyquist, Sproul, and Mrazek, I still doubt Garth Snow or Stevie would take is seriously. Who would you rather have? Let's hear it.

    Captain vacancies

http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-triangle/post/_/id/68251/who-will-be-the-next-captain-for-ottawa-and-dallas-and-tampa-bay-and-columbus-and-edmonton-and-new-york-and-buffalo-and-calgary My predictions for the eight vacancies: NY Islanders: Tavares. DUH Dallas: Jamie Benn Ottawa: Jason Spezza Buffalo: Tyler Myers Columbus: RJ Umberger Calgary: Jiri Hudler Tampa Bay: Steven Stamkos Edmonton: Taylor Hall I'm completely joking about Calgary. It will probably remain empty. That franchise is on a sad path. Too bad we can't beat them. Who do you guys think will fill the empty captain vacancies?

Which UFA would help the Wings the most?

Clarkson for his toughness and grit. Easy Ryder for a true sniper
  7. Red Wings are 7-0 this playoffs when scoring more goals than the opposition. Interesting stat of the day!

WCQF Game 6 GDT : Ducks 3 at Red Wings 4 (OT) - (Series Tied 3-3)

I will take any kind of win in game 7, but I prefer that it not be in overtime. I can't take these OT games anymore. I'm this close to a heart attack.

Brian Lashoff to take Dekeyser's place in game 3

Put Tootoo in as the 6th defenseman and have him be a headhunter

    Zetterberg's Future

Kronwall is only 1 year younger than Z. By the time Z retires Kronwall will be done too. I know this may seem dumb but maybe Ericsson? His play has improved big time in the last 2 years and if he continues to progress he could be a very good defenseman. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a 'A' on his jersey if Pavel leaves. As others have said if Helm is healthy and comes back strong he is a likely option as well.

    Zetterberg's Future

Hi everyone, first time poster here. Really like this forum btw, seems like its really active and the fans are mostly knowledgeable. I'm 20 years old, so in my lifetime the Wings have had Yzerman as captain for 14 of those years and Lidstrom for 6. Starting this year, it's been passed on to Zetterberg. I was just wondering how long you guys think Zetterberg's tenure will be here as captain. I'm under the assumption that as long as he is playing and not retired, that Z will remain the captain. My take is that he will last around 6 years like Lids, putting him at nearly 40 by then. The Wings have had the best captain situation in the past 20+ years, which is part of the reason why in my lifetime we have never missed the playoffs. I really hope it stays that way, and as long as Z is here I'm sure it will. How much longer do you guys see him playing? How much longer can he sustain this high level of play? Thanks
