They're all better than Emerick, Olczyk, and McGuire. Which isn't saying a whole lot, I guess.

Didn't wings already have a 3-0 lead at the time and stuart clearly saw cleary standing pretty close, why not hesitate for a sec or just shoot the puck deep behind the net for the other player...I just think he should have thought an extra second or two.
Plenty of people on earth are not very good at playing hockey, but you aren't even good at watching it. Traffic in front, shots from the blueline, hockey 101. Ask Mike Babcock if he wants the D to hesitate, even when you're up 3-0. You'll get the death stare.

After my first game at the joe my father and I saw him outside, called over "hey orange hat guy!" and he laughed and said hello. One of those big, genuine smiles you don't see every day, it's one of my clearer memories of that night. He'll be missed by many people.

If they had any clue what the octopus toss originally stood for, perhaps they'd change their minds about using an animal that looks like a one. I don't even want them to win that many, but hey, if tossing a snake gets them their one playoff victory and a bunch of their fans kicked out of the arena Wednesday, well I guess they've proved their point.

All jokes aside, first mofo that tries getting silly with my Lidstrom jersey is going to see some right hands thrown like you'd never expect from #5, and if a sign comes up in my face its getting launched like a frisbee. I'm not there to be nasty to their fans, I have no intention of walking in there cocky or doing anything other than cheering my team on. I'm a pretty humble and nice guy...til you do something stupid. It's not the guy who wrote it that concerns me...there are bound to be a few, shall we say "simple" people with that article on their minds Wednesday, however.

Fair enough, that being said - you were the one who turned this thread into something it was not.
I call bulls***. The first line of the original post is "No flame." When I see that, the meaning for me is "I realize this is about to piss a lot of people off". All I did was question the relevance of the conversation in this forum, at this time, while attempting to point out it's ludicrous in the first place. All of a sudden I was bitter. Now I derailed the thread to boot. I'm going to lose a lot of sleep tonight, and it may well affect my diet.
