Posted by nuts2u on 14 November 2011 - 10:45 AM

It was a bloody ACCIDENT that he got hit in the face, why are people acting like he did some great thing? Sucks that he got hurt but he sure as hell didn't stick his face in line of fire on purpose...

#2207508 Traverse City Tournament

Posted by nuts2u on 14 September 2011 - 08:02 AM

Great game by the boys, good to see Tvrdon scoring. He's got good size, and hopefully one day he develops into another Franzen, that's the sort of player he projects to be.

Hopefully he is better than Franzen who is injury prone and a *****.

#2196420 Zherdev and Emery?

You don't need to drink piss to know it tastes like piss.

WOW  JUST WOW. Nice input.

#2196374 Zherdev and Emery?

Posted by nuts2u on 05 July 2011 - 08:50 AM

Actually Crymson is right. I remember reading that he attributed his attitude change to his wife and the situation he was in (no one wanted to sign him). When Chelios convinced the Wings to give Cleary a shot in training camp he was already determined to work his ass off. No doubt the Wings locker room was a stabilizing influence, though.

With the bitching people do about Hudler I can't imagine what they'd say about Zherdev. He's softer than Hudler despite being a big guy (I can't blame a 5'9 guy for being a bit soft but when you're 6'2 200lb there's zero excuse). And he's mind-numbingly inconsistent and lazy. There's a reason why he's bounced around looking for a home.

Franzen is 6'3" 220Lbs. soft AND made of glass, will make 5.2M this season and has never hit 60 points in his career. How many players do we have that willingly go to the hard ice to score. The list is short but we have 4 forwards that have never hit 60 points and make more than 2M, plus Burt at almost 2M that hasn't been a 60 point player for several years.

#2196076 Heatley for Havlat swap

Posted by nuts2u on 04 July 2011 - 08:41 AM

So the Sharks have dumped Setoguchi and Heatly and gotten in return Havlat and Brent Burns. Are you kidding me? IMO they have gotten worse not better.

Agree, Burns played horrible after the all star break last season and I read somewhere the Wild were concerned about his concussion issues. Heatly reminds me of our own "power forward" Franzen, lots of size but doesn't use it to their advantage.

#2192326 No, No, NO! Jagr interested in Detroit.

After seeing how Hudler played and the Grigorenko joke I don't want anyone that has spent time in that ***** league.

#2190180 2011 NHL Draft: Round 1 Discussion

Posted by nuts2u on 26 June 2011 - 08:22 PM

This is full of lies.

Anyone who has ever met Rafalski knew he was religious. He wore a cross around his neck everywhere he went. Not to mention, in any interview they had with him in regards to breasts cancer awareness or the natural disasters he always spoke of God coming to their rescue.

And the kid didn't use the draft to profess his love for jesus, he was asked a question about his tie. Tim Tebow had a different bible verse on his eye black every game and look how he turned out. People need to stop being so discriminatory. It seems it's ok with people that a person is ***, but if a person is religious, it's a bad thing. If they are good people and good athletes, who gives a flying f***?

Being *** is OK and being Religious is OK, just don't preach to me and I won't say f*** to you.....

#2181797 Colin Campbell Steps Down

Posted by nuts2u on 01 June 2011 - 04:51 PM

I think this is a huge step in the right direction.

Shanny has always been straight forward and honest, whereas Campbell was mysterious, inconsistent, unprofessional, and untrustworthy. Should have stepped down after the whole email fiasco.

Just hope Shanny brings back some consistency and clarification to the disciplinary process which would help to restore a level of trust with the fans.

Always straight forward and honest? LOL This is the guy that was screwing his team mate's wife.

#2176363 Jonathan Ericsson Appreciation Thread

Posted by nuts2u on 16 May 2011 - 10:14 PM

You people are a god damn joke. A few years back you were saying pretty much the same s*** about Kronwall and before that it was Jiri Fischer. It's Ericsson's SECOND f***in year in the NHL.

#2164621 Some possible NEEDED changes in the Offseason

Posted by nuts2u on 03 May 2011 - 10:54 AM

One needed change will be the end of the Holmstrom era hopefully. He was only effective in front of the net and now the league has basically taken that away from him by targeting him.

Homer is second on the team in scoring behind only Datsyuk in the playoffs. I admire his guts to go to the "HARD" areas of the game and wish Franzen had even half of the courage that Homer has displayed over the years. Yes he is getting old and maybe this will be his last season but I for one will really miss him when we no longer have the BEST net front MAN in the game.

#2160141 Question: Why do Wings fans hate the Canucks?

Posted by nuts2u on 28 April 2011 - 06:38 PM

When the team captain has the audacity to publicly state that the team that just took them to seven games was so outclassed that they had NO BUSINESS BEING IN THIS SERIES then f*** your canucks and f*** your arrogant ******* of a captain.

#2154507 Helm vs. Jovanovski

Posted by nuts2u on 20 April 2011 - 02:45 PM

He owned him. Beautiful hit.

Both hits were beautiful and the ******* that called the first one boarding needs to be slapped up side the head with a board. Maybe then he could figure out the difference boarding and a perfect kickass hit.
Woulda been funny if Helm gave the middle finger salute right up against Nutsack's cage when he grabbed Helmer's face.

#2146727 What line-up do you want to see?

Posted by nuts2u on 12 April 2011 - 06:15 AM

Scratch Franzen, maybe that would wakeup the big *****.

#2141039 4/2 GDT: Red Wings 4 at Predators 3 (OT)

Posted by nuts2u on 02 April 2011 - 09:53 PM

Nope not at all what? He's not at all better than Salei or Kindl? Then why does Babcock continue to give Ericsson so many more minutes than either one of those guys? Why is it Kindl and Salei fighting for the bottom spot an not E? Tonight with Kronwall out, he moved Ericsson up to be the #4 d-man instead of Salei, a seasoned veteran who's logged 20+ minutes ATOI in his career.

Is Babcock an idiot?

Sure, Kindl looks pretty good for 13 minutes in a game. And Ericsson is going to have some gaffes when he plays 20 minutes.

At this point guys, I'm not even just stating my opinion that Ericsson is better than these guys (I think he is, but it's not like I'm crazy about his play or think it's by a wide margin). But Babcock clearly thinks he is.

If you took Ericsson out of the lineup, Kindl or Salei have to pick up a lot of those minutes. They're not going to look any better than Ericsson.

Salei made a strong case for sitting out a game tonight, but on the awful penalty he took at the end of the game, it started with a terrible turnover by Kindl, but no one seems to see those. Like I said earlier, hopefully E and Kindl will improve and the Wings will have two relatively young, big, cheap defenseman on the bottom pairing.

Thank you. I get real tired of all the bashing of Ericssson. This kid never even played defense until he was 17 years old. And he is now PLAYING IN THE NHL, that to me is just freakin amazing. And it Kindl's FIRST YEAR IN THE NHL. These young guys are going to make mistakes. I remember all this same s*** being said about Jiri Fischer the first 3 or 4 years he was with the Wings.
