I think the word "grit" must have changed over the years. According to the examples given by Pierre, grit = blocking shots, back-checking, and trying to win the puck along the boards. And here I thought that meant "hockey."

Don't get me wrong I am not a fan of Patrick Kane, but you have to be impressed at his ability to make 25 points out of 10 goals and 10 assists.

I think the Preds have one of the best road broadcasts in the league. Im never too upset if I can't get the wings one when we play Nashville.

My problem with Emmerton is that he is not noticeable. I want energy players on my fourth line who crash, bang, and irritate. Emmerton is about as irritating as fleece.
