The Wings are playing like this is a regular season game against the last-place team in the Division.

If their opponents didn't have sticks, the Red Wings would be dynamite with the man advantage.

I'd rather see blatant spearing let go than watch a parade to the penalty box like this. Just ridiculous.

Please, let's not talk about the Red Wings getting an exciting, last-minute victory tonight. Because then we won't be able to SETTLE ONCE AND FOR ALL WHETHER THE SELANNE GOAL WAS A GREAT SHOT BY AN ELITE FORWARD OR A SOFT GOAL ALLOWED ON A BAD NIGHT FROM THE GOALTENDER. So let's not let the outcome of the hockey game, or anything else that happened during it, encroach on that epic debate.
Could Osgood play any worse than Howard?
Yes. Unfortunately, yes.

Time for a goaltending change. Babs should do it now so it's less rough on Jimmy to take.

I love(*) exciting, dramatic playoff games like this!

(*) Except when my team is involved.

A couple of the best divers in the league going toe-to-toe. This time, Win Crosby.

Well s***, you gotta tip your hat to the Yotes. They out worked and outmuscled the Wings.

Bounce back and get the split next game and all will be fine.

I can't remember the last time I had so much confidence that a Detroit goaltender would match even the hottest opposing goaltender save for save. Jimmy seems to thrive on it and he rarely blinks first in these low scoring games. The kid is just playing fantastic right now.

What concerns me most is that the Wings did absolutely nothing for Osgood today. It makes me question how much they really suppport him. He hadn't started a game in over 2 months, you'd think they'd try to do something special for him. It's like the whole team has soured on the guy.

There are nights where you watch this team and know that they're not going to score any more goals. This night, unfortunately, feels like one of them.

All I want is to see someone pummel Matt Cooke within an inch of his life. Is that too much to ask?
