    Congratulations Chris Osgood!

Congrats Oz! One hell of a game he played last night to get his 400th win. I wasn't sure the guys could pull out the win after Kronner took that penalty and the Dives tied it, but Ozzie definitely deserved it. What better team for it to come against too. Here's to many more wins Oz!

Free Agents That Might Sign with The Wings

Looks like Dandy boy was doing his best at a Homer impersonation there.

Draper ticked that Crosby snubbed Lidstrom

Unless that was directed at you, f*** off. That was a reply to a Penguins fan, not you. You don't like my post, then don't read it.

Draper ticked that Crosby snubbed Lidstrom

The Penguins have won how many Cups now? Oh that's right, this makes 3. The Wings? They've won 11, so I would hold off calling it "City of Champions" until the Penguins can win as many as the Wings have. Then again, I wouldn't count on them ever catching the Wings with winning that many Cups.

Draper ticked that Crosby snubbed Lidstrom

Doesn't matter that it was his first Cup. He should have waited to do the interview until after he shook hands with ALL of the Wings. He's won championships elsewhere while he was captain, right? Being captain of an NHL team, he should know that going through the line to shake hands is supposed to come before giving interviews. Not like the media couldn't wait a few minutes until he had gone through the line. But whatever, just proves why everyone still calls him Sid the Kid. He still has alot of maturing to do IMO, hopefully whenever he wins another Cup, he will show the proper respect for the other team's captain.

Draper didn't mention it because he was bored, he mentioned it because Crosby didn't show the respect that he should have. As for him wanting to celebrate with his team, that's fine. But his interview could have waited until after he went through and shook hands with everyone. You celebrate with your team for a few minutes after the game ends, gather yourself long enough to go through the line and shake hands, and then do your interviews or whatever else. Lidstrom shouldn't have to wait on Crosby, so you even saying that maybe you guys should complain that Lids didn't wait long enough is just ridiculous. Draper is not the only one who didn't take kindly to it either. http://www.freep.com/article/20090615/BLOG...off+controversy "I think you should do it after a series, shaking hands. I don't know why he didn't do it,'' Zetterberg said Monday, after players cleaned out their lockers. "I think it's disrespectful. I don't know the reason he didn't do it, but I hope he has a really good one.'' http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/20...terberg_ca.html

Draper ticked that Crosby snubbed Lidstrom

Crosby could have just as easily gotten a penalty on that play, had it been anyone else, there would have been one. But whatever. Crosby had better enjoy his Cup, because he isn't going to see another one for awhile...at least not in the next season or two.

    Wings fans listen up

Doesn't help when NHLNetwork is showing the games all over again, or at least the games that the Penguins won. Last night they were showing game 7, and tonight it was game 6. Still just makes me sick, and I didn't even have to turn that channel on. I am not looking forward to any NHL commercials at any point of the coming season, simply because it will be more of Crosby being shoved down everyone's throats.

You have some balls coming onto a Wings site and calling what Mule did "dirty". Seriously? Who ended the Ducks season again? Oh, that's right...the Wings did. Stop making yourself look like more and more of a dick, and go back to your Ducks board.

Crosby didn't shake our players hands?

That was my point actually. He should have done it the right way, and not the way he did.

Draper ticked that Crosby snubbed Lidstrom

What because Lidstrom didn't wait on the chosen one to be done with his interview? Oh no, call Bettman and have him suspended immeadiately. Captain prick should have been first in the line to shake hands with the Wings, not been the last one to do so. Don't give me the excuse that he is "just a kid" either, because that just doesn't fly. He was deemed mature enough to be made captain of an NHL team, so he should have been mature enough to lead his team through the handshakes at the end of the game. You're not going to make anyone here think better of him, just because you try to make Lidstrom look like the bad guy for skating off and not waiting for Crosby to finish his interview. Crosby has no respect for anyone else, and this just showed it last night. Enjoy the Cup while you have it, you won't be seeing another one anytime soon.

Crosby didn't shake our players hands?

I'm sure he won't make any mention of him not shaking hands with most of the players. He would never allow himself to be seen in a negative light, and will probably avoid making comment about it at all. I didn't like Crosby from the time he came into the league, and all the hype about him before he ever played an NHL game didn't help that any. It's not just us Wings fans that dislike him, which should say something. There is way too much of Crosby being crammed down everyones throats, and it will only get worse from here on...which is sad. He should have shown respect and been first through that line to shake hands with everyone, not been a dick and only went when most of the players had left the ice.

Crosby didn't shake our players hands?

Crosby is a dick, plain and simple. As the face of the NHL, one would think he would act better than he does. As PenaltyShot mentioned already, it was just a show of good sportsmanship for him to shake hands with everyone. Celebrate with your team on the flight back to Pittsburgh, but have enough respect for the tradition that comes after the series is over. Had it been the Wings that won, and Lidstrom that was too busy celebrating to shake hands, it would be all over the press I'm sure. I didn't like Crosby before, probably from all the cramming down everyone's throat that happens, but this just shows he is a dick and has no respect for a tradition like that.

Just shows what a dick he really is.
