I'm sure during the lock out, you said something along the lines of not caring if hockey comes back you won't pay attention anyway, watching tv, or coming on a forum is contradictory.  Soon enough you will be purchasing again.  Of course you are spending money because of them; ie going to the bar to watch the game (unless you don't buy anything).  Obviously it doesn't matter at the end of the day. 

I did say "I think I'm pretty much done with them" or something to that effect, so in that sense you are completely correct. I'm a hipocrate or liar in your eyes. Spending money because of them, I suppose is true, but they aren't getting any of it, which was my whole point. I eat at resteraunts throughout the baseball season and it doesn't help the MLB or Tigers in any way. And if I spend money in any way this season that directly benefits the NHL or Wings, I'll post it so that you can be 100% right. But it won't happen. I didn't think anyone paid that much attention to what I post here. Thanks for noticing me.

Voted no. I agree with Jonz96. Can't speak for anyone else, but I think they have alienated a LOT of fans this time. IMHO this lockout will keep a lot of fans from coming back. Voted no because another lockout will surely kill the sport. I've been watching hockey since the 70's and have been on many roller-coasters with the Wings. I'm pretty much done with these douchenozzles. All of em. I don't really care if they get it figured out. If I watch any games at all, it will most definitely NOT be my number 1 priority as it has been in the past. I won't be giving the NHL any of my money this year. That trickles down to the Wings and then the players. I don't care. I am angry and bitter that the sport I love above all others has taken this road again.....I wouldn't let anyone or anything else in my life threat me this s***ty. I hate that I am reduced to this, but I can't allow myself to be treated this badly again. Bastards.

I think I'm done with the NHL. I love the Wings, but I am completely disgusted that we are having bak-to-back lockouts. Fans are clearly not as important as greed. So much is wrong with hockey today, it's just not worth the trouble anymore.....this coming from a fan of over 40 years.

Well, it's not really over yet, is it? As a fan, I don't give up until the Wings are actually eliminated. I'm going to save my theories for change until the boys are on the golf course. And that is not a given, imho. I think they are going to get inspired. And burn the freakin house down.

I think the Wings will be allowed to win tonite. I think Uncle Gary is having the Zebras do everything they can to ensure this series goes to 7 games. It will be just like comparing games 1 and 2. First game: looking a little lazy and practically sucking. Second game: Owned the Preds. Third game: Rinse and repeat first game. Fourth game........

We pulled together as a team and made the 415. 3 minutes to gametime. We just rock...

Why would I jump on another teams bandwagon? When did I say I was rooting against the Wings? All I am doing is conceding that the Wings won't win the Cup this year and I don't see what's wrong with that.

The fact that the losses hurt me more than is hurts the players shows how big of a fan that I am and I expect nothing but the best from this hockey club and 4+ years without a Cup is long overdue in my books as we are not Leaf fans and thus deserve the best.

What do you think starting those hairball chants that you have in mind would be called...rooting for them? That's a great idea, though. Start chants like that at the Joe. Better than writing Kenny a letter.... Obviously you want some controversy and attention.

No preferential treatment for celebs = fine by me. In this day and age, everyone knows the ramifications of drinking and driving. Jail time on the first offense could inspire folks to never ever do it again. I like Arpaio’s set up. I think that jail/prison time should be hellishly uncomfortable. Basic human needs for survival met, and nothing else. Make going to jail/prison so distasteful that folks actually think twice about breaking the law. Chain gangs. Love em. Make criminals work their asses off for several reasons....help pay the cost of their time in the system, improve the local community, give them a good, solid work ethic so that when they get out they will be in the "get off your ass and go to work" groove. Tents are good enough for soldiers. I like that, too.
