I think that would be even worse. A team shouldn't be punished with zero points for losing a shootout. It's one thing to decide Olympic elimination games that way, but not regular season games.
It would be too harsh.
And there's nothing wrong with ties. It just means neither team was good enough to win the game in regulation or in OT. Hence, neither gets two points. Basically, each game should have a maximum of two points on the line.
The point is to eliminate three point games and to make a skills competition not mean so much.

I swear Tambellini must be smoking crack! What a waste of money! They should have traded him and used the the 5 million to get a real player, what a joke.

Wings powerplay is brutal, they got a month and a half to get it figured out are we're probably screwed. I don't know what they're doing out there, they have no flow and they're getting hardly any shots through.
Canucks outplayed us in that period, better come out with a better effort in the second or the lead wont last long.

I looked through the teams that are out of the playoff race and this is the guy that I like the most that makes sense for the Wings. He plays a gritty game and he puts some numbers as well. He's the kind of guy I would want around for the playoff battles. The question is would the price be to high?

Would much rather have Downie, but some depth on D is ok i guess. Never should gotten rid of this guy in the first place. How much cap space do we have now?
No, the difference is you expect too much out of Bert and too little apparently out of the rest.
Zetterberg looks like an old fart.
I expect nothing from Bert and he delivers most of the time, last night being one of the exceptions. Oh ya and Z has 12 points in the last 9 games and the biggest goal of the season last night.
