#2347312 Brad Stuart destroys Gabriel Landeskog

Posted by Mors on 27 January 2013 - 12:36 AM

I just noticed O'Byrne got 2 min for instigating AND 2 min for instigating with a visor on...I don't think I've ever seen that called before

#2344469 Jordin Tootoo: Usage? (6:57 TOI vs. Columbus)

Tootoo rocked that guy McKenzie two or three times last night, I was pleased with his performance ;)

#2264225 Post-TDT: Red Wings stand pat, no additions

Holland doing nothing at the trade deadline? Playoff rivals getting tougher at "unreasonable" asking prices?

In other news, water wet, sky blue.

#2222036 Bertuzzi SUCKS

Posted by Mors on 03 November 2011 - 05:45 PM

How is this even a topic of discussion? If you're going to start picking apart the team this early in the season, at least stick to the guys making double or triple Bertuzzi's salary who also haven't done jack s*** so far.

Let's hope he's not as useless as our last #22.

#2199122 Chris Osgood announces retirement

Posted by Mors on 18 July 2011 - 06:37 PM

Osgood should have been the bigger man here and retired...he's hardly played in 2 years, IMO this doesn't really help the team at all. I'd be more comfortable with Conklin.

#2193408 Wings re-sign Ericsson to 3-year, $9.75m contract

Posted by Mors on 01 July 2011 - 10:27 AM

I don't know why Ericsson's size is consistently mentioned as his saving grace, the guy plays like a complete ***** and barely utilizes his size at all...if this is his only positive attribute for $3.25 million then it's gonna be another rough year on defense.

#2186285 No, No, NO! Jagr interested in Detroit.

Posted by Mors on 16 June 2011 - 05:58 PM

I'd be alright with signing Jagr for around $1 million, if it somehow contributed to the Wings trading Hudler. I would also be alright with not signing Jagr, if it somehow contributed to the Wings trading Hudler :D

#2186283 Wings unlikely to sign Osgood/Draper

Posted by Mors on 16 June 2011 - 05:51 PM

Draper and Osgood have both been integral to the team's past success, and they've been excellent teammates in the process. That said, it's time for both of them to retire. As Holland said, the torch needs to be passed or this team isn't making forward progress.

#2175821 Modano

Posted by Mors on 15 May 2011 - 10:43 AM

Is Modano a better hitter than Hudler?

The answer is no.

Congratulations, your post is invalid and unneccessary. Please remove it.

What we really need are more inane statistical analysis showing that theoretically Hudler would have contributed 187 points this season if the stars had aligned and we had all conducted the proper rites and rituals.

#2175817 Hudler's Future

Posted by Mors on 15 May 2011 - 10:41 AM

Biggest hit of Hudler's career was against his own teammate. Holland needs to put an end to this charade already.

#2175813 Modano

Posted by Mors on 15 May 2011 - 10:34 AM

You may be joking there... but it's true in real life also.

Hudler homerism is starting to border on ridiculous now, did you guys grow up together?...Hudler's signing was just as unsuccessful as Modano's stint, he was useless for the majority of the season and failed to contribute anything during the most crucial series of the playoffs. If he manages to stay on this team another season, you'll be the only one celebrating .

#2164968 Is San Jose more talented than us?

Posted by Mors on 03 May 2011 - 07:01 PM

If anything, you should be comparing players by salary, not by position in the lineup. Comparing Bertuzzi at $1.5 million to Thornton at $7 million is ridiculous.

#2159175 Nashville vs. Vancouver

Posted by Mors on 27 April 2011 - 10:38 AM

I will never root for Nashville in any situation, Canucks in 4,5,6, or 7 is fine by me.

#2156009 Mike Modano

Posted by Mors on 21 April 2011 - 06:21 PM

Modano played very well last night and showed he can still compete
