Hey Buddy~ I am here for content, and his content is spot on! If you are looking for spelling & grammar there are plenty of places you can find it. BTW the season was over at the trade deadline.Buddy, re-post this when the Wings are officially out, which hopefully isn't for awhile.
I hope you're from abroad too, because your spelling sucks. Brush that up before you come back around with a "This season sucked, we're done" style contribution.
Fingers crossed for game 5.

agree with everything you said...except...i think that quincey should be let go too. guy is a bottom pairing defenseman that earns almost 4 mil a season.
We could loose him & E. Does anybody know how much Allen in Carolina makes? Would prefer him to both Quincy & E.

Sure am glad we have 90% ******* on this team. They didn't care when Malkin swung a stick at Z, they didn't care when Datsyuk had to fight for himself, or Howard, but Holland loves this team... f*** HIM
Completely agree! There Hank knelt, collecting himself, ALONE! Nobody around, nobody addressing this. Again you are right. This is a Holland team. Jimmmy D needs to address this. This is absolute BS! The wings can't impact the league, they can't control what the Preds do, but they sure can control what they do. They did NOTHING. They should all be embarrassed! I am for them. This is Detroit, & this is hockey. Lift up your skirt Holland!

Yep....must be why we won the cup in 08 and went to game seven the next year. It's not the size of the dog, ya know?
That was a more skilled team & the rest of the western teams had not caught up to the new financial requirements & the teams in the west were chasing a finesse style of play.
The western teams are bigger now, we are less skilled & there is far more parody in the west. Today, the sharks are 9 points above 500 & are not in the play offs. It's not 08.

I'm sure you could come up with reasons why every team will lose. It's far easier to predict that a team will lose in the playoffs. Come back when you can tell me which team will win.
Specifically Detroit will loose because they will play very hard during the regular season, with the regular season rules and be physically beat up to start them. When the playoffs begin the ref's will swallow the whistle (as they ALWAYS DO)Zetta will be cross checked into explaining that he played hurt most of the playoffs. Danny Cleary will give it all he has but will crack a rib falling off his chair trying to stand up to someone, Dats will be slashed & waked by a meaningless player & hurt his wrist (Any of this sound familiar? I believe Mule, Howard, Quincy, Lids and Stuart will have great 6 games, but they are done. It takes more out of them to take the pounding then the bigger clubs. I also be they kill themselves trying to secure home ice throughout, Sorry Vanc., Nashville, (SJ (built for play offs)will show them the way to their T time. Doesn't make me happy. I genuinely appreciate the team. My ***** is with Holland. That said I appreciate the team even Kenny. I am just appreciating the boy scout philosophy less & less each year.
Not trying to piss anyone off. Just venting and disappointed. Justified or not it feels like my hockey season is over. Part of what I enjoy is the strategy of building the teams.
I hope Kenny can relax tonight, crack open a Zima & watch the bachelor or whatever she likes.......

Since you've a crystal ball, can you tell me who will win the Cup and in how many games? I'd like to place some bets in Vegas.
I don't know who will win, but I know Detroit won't. Let me know when they hit 500 on the road.

I am pretty sure that this is the same team ( abeit Quincey) that just ran the table with a record setting 23 games at home. C'me on....this is a great team and the no one in this trade deadline got much better. We could have added some extra pieces but so could have a lot of teams.
We dont have the record that we do by being crappy
Nobody is saying the wings are crappy. The frustration is that the competition got a little tougher to play against, we are not doing well on the road & we are beginning to see the impact of injuries. We are not built for playoff hockey & will not survive. Sorry, we didn't improve when we could have.

Ken Holland strikes again!
How did this team get better over the last few weeks? Quincey is an upgrade, but does it really excite you that we are now looking at Brendan Smith as a possible playoff defenseman? Jesus, keep Commodore, at least he's got some experience.
But once again, super Kenny Holland sits on his laurels, hopes for a miracle, gets paid the same..........notice how his protege, Steve Yzerman, made moves to improve his club.
Quincy is just a make up for resigning Erikson at the number he did. If it weren't for Hanken & the scouting department (that was in place before Holland) we would be like Calgary at best. Maybe
