Not much more i can add that others haven't already said.

We weren't even supposed to make the playoffs, and once we did, no one expected us to get this far. The fact that we're here, at Game 7, in the 2nd round against the Blackhawks, no less, is something to be extremely proud of.

Obviously, I'm pulling for a win, but even if we lose, these boys have all of my respect and of course, i will love them no less.

I seem to recall that even though the Hawks won the Cup in 2010, they then traded away a bunch of players (or they just re-signed elsewhere) and failed to make the playoffs at all in 2011. Ha. Some "powerhouse" team they are.

I hope Babcock and the Wings see this and it lights a fire under their asses and they shut this guy and the Hawks fans up tomorrow. The odds may seem against us but we've beaten teams before when it looked grim. Remember when Vancouver outplayed us a few years ago and took the first 2 games against us at the Joe, and then we went back and won the next 4 straight? Remember in 2011 when the Sharks were up 3-0, and, even though we lost, we battled back from the deficit and we took them to Game 7? Don't write us off just yet.

Showing my age.... I remember Neil when he played for the Griffins. Something about #25..........

 

Yes for you youngsters, the griffins used to be the top farm team for the Sens.... back in the IHL days....

 

I remember that! Man Neil used to be one of my favorites. I loved watching him get into it.

But otherwise it's a pretty obvious excuse for something else.  Murph would hardly factor in ratings being down, particularly coming off yet another lockout. 

Yeah, I'm calling BS on the ratings claim too. Something else must have happened to just fire him out of the blue like that.
