I love Ovie.  I nominate Ovie for the office of President of the Capital of the United States of America, even though it's not even a state but a district whose residents can't really vote and whose somehow elected local government can be overridden on any decision they make by the Feds who some live there but seem to be able to vote just fine and get a lifetime pension for just a few years work unless stripped of their office but that doesn't happen often thanks to the good ol' boy network that we pay for.   GO OVIE!!!

There is talk of a Tribe owned casino being built in the surrounding area of Jobbing.com area, if the city approves it.  Maybe that will bring in more people or maybe they can buy the team too!  I still don't think the taxpayers should have to finance the team.

Maybe they should just buy the arena and convert it to a casino...

Just make the rules for fighting the same as international hockey.

The only reason I care who wins in Van/Chi is that I don't want to play SJS because of 10:30pm start times.

I have to confess a sin that I did at 3:00 am this morning.  I went to CoyotesCorner.net, and had a look at the site out of curiosity  Anyhow I had a couple, and decided it would be fun to register and post under a thread titled "Signs at the Game."  The thread is about people in the Phoenix area brainstorming on what to put on the signs they will be bringing.  

So I chirped in with "Thank You, Goldwater!" and "Darcy Olsen:  Babe of the Year".  

Needless to say, they did not appreciate that too much, and banned my account.  Yes, I'm  an a**hole and I am probably going to hell, but I just could not resist.  

So for anyone thinking of bringing in signs about Winnipeg, the Goldwater institute (in a positive light), etc.  I wouldn't recommend it.

Why not, gonna be mostly Wings fans there anyway.

I'm not gonna watch eitherway, I have a hard enough time remembering Red Wings games are on, let alone a game where I'm only watching with hopes of meteor impact...
