That's not an average shot. It was a blast, let alone he was skating into the shot. He had a chance, but you can't blame him for not stopping it.

Yeah, that was a "Close your eyes and hope it hits you" shot. Vermette was wide open, coming off the bench, and a clear lane to Howie. Again, nothing Howie could have done other than hope it hits him and deflects away.

Hey, at least they gave up 1 goal this time in the 1st! :hehe:

AND, everytime we shoot there's 2-3 Sens in front of their net...nobody in a Winged Wheel going to the net. WTF? :!:

If a Wings player shoots the puck in front of a crowd, it gets deflected. If an opposition player shoots the puck in front of a crowd, it bounces off of half the state of Michigan, Babcock's hair, and Murphy's hot dog before ending up in the net <_<

At least the defense started on time, but decided to end early <_<

. Got two points out of it.

We really don't need Nabakov, we just need to dump McCrummy and you'll see a big jump in the defense the second he leaves the state. If the Wings keep him, then "Welcome aboard, prepare to have 3 goals get by you each game you start!" as long as McCrummy is still around.
