Tatar isn't a center. While Filppula plays a lot of wing his face-off, and defensive value is something that Tatar does not have at this time.
I do agree Tatar is NHL ready, but not as a Filppula replacement.

Helm
Andersson
Emmerton
Abdelkader can play at C
Jarnkrok
Ferraro
Sheahan

If Kenny/Babs are going to give a chance to Jarnkrok he better play on the 3rd line.

Let's say Kenny traded Flip for a mid/late 1st, our is going to be mid 1st... 2-1st rounder in a this year draft would be BIG for our future.

IMO he should have traded Flip either for a 1st or quality prospect.... Now he will have two choices, losing him for nothing or even worst overpaying him at $5M and up... Same thing goes for White, a 2nd rounder in THIS year draft is better than nothing

Even accept?? Semin has been great for Carolina. He'd be our 3rd best player. HUGE miss by Holland.
Not great defensively, who cares. We have two of the best two-way players in the NHL on our team.

We have scoring forwards in Tatar and Nyquist... But they need to play top six minutes and not bottom six.

Problem is that we need a bigger wingers who are going to play in the corners and provide some space for Dats/Z/Brunner/Nyquist/Tatar...
