Looked like a poor man's version of Wings Avs back in the day

I can't decide if this group is not good enough or if Babcock/Holland are not good enough

Neither... just a bad night... Do you think the pens are flipping out cuz they lost AT HOME last night to the Islanders with Fleury in net? I really believe with Jimmy in Net they have a chance at the cup

Oh great we got Larry, Moe & Curly announcing the game lol

#2274623 Quincey vs. Stuart

Posted by HockeytownRules19 on 27 March 2012 - 07:22 PM

Doesn't sound like Stuart wants to come back, but if he can be had, we should sign them both.

I don't think that is true... He has always said he wants to come back just the big family issue back in cali might force him to move back closer to home... There is no doubt Stuart would re-sign with the wings if he got the "OK" from his family, which sadly I don't think will happen

Sixth place is way better. 3 pt game and Chicago winning would be the best.

Give me a break man... Do you have any confidence in this team? I have never seen a wings team back away from a challenge... Besides I DO NOT want to start the 1st round on the road... You are discrediting the Pacific champ IMO... I believe we will win the 1st round it doesn't matter who it is

I am completely torn on who I want to root for (all i am asking for is no 3 pt game)

If Nashville wins in reg, Chicago will have a tough time getting into that spot... Bad news is Nashville would jump us

If Chicago wins, we stay ahead but Chicago stays in it.

Decisions, Decisions.... Who do you root for?

I'm pumped for playoffs lol

Dude I am... I'm excited to see what this team can do... When everyone was in the lineup we were the best team in hockey

#2273086 Which team would piss you off the most if they won the cup?

Posted by HockeytownRules19 on 23 March 2012 - 07:10 AM

Vancouver, Pitt, Chicago or San Jose... Also I would say Nashville just because of their fans (who are pricks) at their home games :hehe:

Two periods in and there's only four pages as I have the responses aligned.

Is it slow in here or what? Is it a reflection of playoff hopes? I know since I returned to LGW I've missed a few games, but what gives?

The trolls don't have much to yell at

#2269426 Monday 3/12 Practice Notes

Posted by HockeytownRules19 on 12 March 2012 - 05:07 PM

A significant bone bruise can take 6-10 weeks for the pain to dissipate. Its a terrible injury I've had with a finger and my radius (both from blocking shots in my Jr days). If the medical staff can deem that hes not at risk for further injury (ie, stress fractures) I would like to think that training staff might start thinking about giving him localized pain masking agents. Kurt Angle won and Olympics medal with 2 broken vertebrae in his neck via taking localized Novocaine injections before matches ... numbs the pain and isnt a banned because it lacks opiate or steroidal properties. Just a thought.

What pisses me off that a 6 million dollar player has a needless injury - if he had the skate shells that many shotblockers wear these days (Kronwall +Commie come to mind) he wouldnt have had an issue to begin with. I realize theres a comfort issue - but if I could go back and do things again I know that I would have certainly worn them.

IMO I bet if this happened during the playoffs I bet he would take a shot and some painkillers and give it a go, but they are being very cautious about this injury since we are so close to the playoffs
