Full disclosure: There is no Kayleigh Lynn Anderson. Her family members are fictional, as are her coach, school, and the dude that sells tickets for the Sens and his nephew.
Happy April Fool's Day everyone.
Thanks to those who played along (Call to Arms specifically) and, to the rest of you, GOTCHA!

The Wings win and Homer gets a goal called back due to
his ass hitting the goaliebeing in uniform. Do you think Babs could put a shock collar on him that feeds him a shot if he is within 3 feet of the crease?

Still not seeing the intent.
Oh right, it's not visible.

Decided to pop over to the Bruins board. Some members actually praising the hit and getting angry that there was even a penalty.
I don't think Chara meant to do that; it's just an unlucky situation. No suspension should be given.
Those of you saying that Chara knew he was hitting him into the stantion are crazy. At the pace this game is played, Chara was simply trying to not allow Pacioretty to get by him and grab the puck. This was not a dirty hit. Interference maybe, but Chara certainly did not plan for this to happen.
I remember my days playing hockey, I hit someone the exact same way. It was not on purpose, I had no idea the stantion was there, but it was one of the biggest hits of my hockey career![]()
*The kid I hit was not injured

Message Board=Opinions.
As I already covered, it has nothing to do with it being the "newest and coolest", it has to do with expecting more for my entertainment dollar. period. The Palace is over 30 years old, but is still a legit venue at least... call me all the names you want, I think it's sad that so many people are willing to accept such a poor arena, just because of the team in it, even when that team is the best professional sports franchise in the world... expect more.
Also, I turned down tickets to round 1 last year because they were upper bowl.

you're going to question my fandom based off of that?!?!? I take an annual trip to GR to watch the Griffins at Van Andel (side note - it's pretty sad when your AHL arena BLOWS AWAY your NHL arena), I watch every single game, stream SEL and SM-Liga games to watch our other prospects online, and have been to over 100 games at the Joe... my point is, I am not going to pay money to support a venue that I think needs to go away anymore, the live game experience is not JUST the product on the ice, but the environment too and the Joe is a hole these days... I am simply not going to accept "bare minimum" anymore for my entertainment dollar, when I can watch the game in HD on my 52 inch LCD in my cushy chair, with my bottled micro-brew beer and my bathroom 20 feet away, without dealing with the crowd OR the traffic, just to go to a s*** arena...

Unless you're in the first 10 rows of the upper bowl, it's not great...
Personally, I won't even go to the Joe anymore unless I'm in the lower bowl, the seats are too crammed up top, the concourse sucks and the bathrooms are a disaster... last season I vowed to not go to another game until they get a new arena...

Everyone seemed fine with it when it kept Nabby from going to Detroit. A "punishment" for not signing by season start if I remember correctly.
