#2060688 Osgood may retire following this season

Posted by Hockeytown0001 on 09 November 2010 - 11:10 PM

Ozzie get's his 400 win and retires after this year, question, is he going to the Hall of Fame? With 3 Cup rings and 400 wins, I say yes.

The thing that bothers me most about losing to the Pens in 2009 is that Ozzie was robbed of a Conn Smythe.

Remember, anyone who says no is going to get a punch in the teeth from D-Mac.

#2060293 Why is St. Louis doing so good?

Posted by Hockeytown0001 on 09 November 2010 - 09:08 AM

Until St. Louis begins to falter (they'll cool off, but I doubt they'll start to tank), I'm looking at them as the real deal. Halak in net has made a huge difference so far.

I live in Windsor, so for me a game would cost $7.50 round trip tunnel bus right to the Joe, then ~$30 for tickets upper bowl, blue line. I'm not quite 21 so usually I dont waste money on $8.75 beers. Sometimes I go and my beer tab runs up higher than the tickets or transportation to the game.

Anyhow, I cannot complain about the prices! A regular season Wings game for me costs about $40-45.

Not going to make it tonight, I usually try only for weekend games as the traffic at the border can be bad trying to get across during the week for a 7pm start.

After you turn 21, it's pretty hard to resist your first beer at the Joe.

#2059464 Q cuts Hawk practice short

Posted by Hockeytown0001 on 07 November 2010 - 10:30 PM

One great season? I guess you forgot we took you to the WCF the year before. Maybe thats not a great seasn for the mighty Wings, but for us, that was a nice season.

Who is we? Do you play for Chicago?

Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "we took you to the WCF". Detroit and Chicago met in the series, the Hawks didn't take Detroit anywhere.
