I just read the best idea for Nabby yet. Tell Snow you're ready to play. Show up, play a period or so, then fake an injury. It's been working for DiPietro for years now.
Then he can go where he wants when the season is over, and there's nothing the Isles can do about it.

It just doesn't make sense. All the Isles are going to do is hurt themselves. Say Nabby comes in, plays 30 games, and wins 20-25 of them. The Isles still don't make the playoffs, and their place in the draft order just went way down. Nabby walks at the end, and they can't lure another NHL caliber goalie because of how they treat players. They have a mid-round draft pick instead of a top 3.

Wow..Nabby is gonna get hosed then. Yikes. I can see Snow petitioning for "tolling" the contract. If what Outsider says is true, and they don't care, that seems right up their alley. Wasting a roster spot 2 years in a row.

Seems like a better use of Snow's time would be to try and improve things so that they can attract some free agents, rather than continually demonstrating that the Islanders are going to treat you like livestock if you sign there, and even if you don't.

Pronger was totally directing traffic on that, he didn't even look at where Kipper was. Kipper seems like more of a ****** on this than Pronger does.

I liked the idea that several folks have brought up in the comments. Have all the selected players throw their sticks in a pile, and either have the captains take turns picking a stick, or just have like Bettman go to the pile and throw them either way. Would be a cool way to pick the teams, getting back to the shinny roots.

This!I hope Chicago does take the unethical and immoral rout by screwing over Huet and Campbell by waiving them, and sending them down to the minors. We all know nobody will take on their salary. Chicago is virtually punishing their players for having poor management, and a franchise that is filled with incompetence.... I'm sure improperly treating players will go a long way for the future of the Chicago Blackhawk's club. I smell another 50 year cup drought coming if they continue to employ these shameless tactics. It just proves that the Blackhawks club, as a whole, is a poorly managed franchise.

I like the fact that Burrish was scratched for like the last 3 games in the series, yet he comes out all dressed up in "his hockey suit" like he was actually part of the win. What a tool bag. At least Pronger played.
