Just started season 3, finally gave in and yes, it's awesome.
Season 1 and the first few of season 2 is a bit uneven, and then suddenly the show hits it's stride.
St. Michael... Did you find where to watch?
So the city s now officially bankrupt but willing to subsidize the new arena? As a citizen I would ask others and gather for a collective sueing of the so called city representives, unbelievable. I guess the Winter Classic is now offiicially in daknger again...
You did not read the above post....they're tax incentives, nothing out of pocket....just eating out of future potential revenue (which is pretty dumb as well).
@georgemalik So the City isn't on the hook for any of it?
George Malik said
@ChiTownSports No. It's property tax money, and property tax money that was already diverted for downtown development.
- starts in August
- If Bought out Sammy's caphit this year would be 1 million as well as 1 million next season. (2/3rds spread over spread over 2 seasons)
- total of 2 million in savings for this year.
This actually isn't that bad.
And if he's sent to GR, they're getting just 1/3 freed up?
Not sure I can tolerate watching Holland not improve a team that was a couple pieces away from the Finals. How do you propose to avoid another first or second round exit?
Oh hey I've got an idea, let's field the same exact team again and see if it works.
Why are people so sure Columbus will do something amazing? I am happy for them but keep in mind this Kekkailinen guy doesn't know much about NA talents and Davidson is not going to run their draft. I am sure they will do fine but it may be to early for their new GM to do something amazing like moving into the top 10.
I really hope the Wings are going after to draft Gauthier or Bo Horvat just not sold on that Domi guy.
These guys aren't NA (minus Berglund)?
In 2002 Kekäläinen joined the St. Louis Blues as Assistant GM and Director of Amateur Scouting, where he helped draft much of the core of the team in the early 2010s, including defenseman Alex Pietrangelo and forwards T.J. Oshie, Patrik Berglund, David Perron, and David Backes.
