Babs looks like he's going to choke the idiot behind the bench out right then and there.

Apparently a Tampa area blogger published an article bashing the city of Detroit and the lightning website and Twitter posted it.... So, this guy wrote a perfect comeback article.

http://detroitsports... Bay vs Detroit

Stay classy, Tampa Bay.

The detroit blogger is reaching a bit. A slice of Little Caesars vs a Cuban sandwich? Seriously? That blogger has no fracking taste buds

Also, no love for Matty Moron's Ambassador Bridge. Ship everything associated with the guy to Mars.

#2589748 Who do you hope the Wings play in the 1st Round?

How about they actually make the playoffs?

I know it's part of the speculation, but why the hell would Babbers want to go to Toronto? That place is a dumpster fire year after year. Money I guess would be the only feasible reason.

They'll probably offer him a higher degree of authority than the Wings are, due to KH's tenure. Babs would find that very attractive.

This might not be a popular opinion but Nyquist could use a couple games in the press box.

He is now having a true sophomore slump. Ugh.

It would be nice to see the NHL purchase the rights to Capgeek, all proceeds going to Matt's family. RIP Matt, sad to see something like this.

I'd rather TSN do that. The league would ruin it.

Great article. No idea what stick crawled up the behind of the poster above me.

Take a look at this clip which accompanies the article:

If you watch video of us back then, it barely resembles the way the NHL is played today. It’s more similar to how Barcelona play soccer. Our philosophy was about puck control, improvisation, and constant movement. Now, the game is all about “north-south,” chip-and-chase. We moved side-to-side and swooped around the ice looking for open spaces. A backward pass was just as good as a forward pass. You didn’t have to see your linemate. You could smell him. Honestly, we probably could have played blind.

I miss the 90s when the Wings played like that on a regular basis. What a beautiful thing it was.
