I don't think the wings are hoping that Mac leads them in points.He is coming up in hopes he can add a piece to the puzzel in terms of toughness,grit ,leadership,desire and make some more room for our skilled players, eliminate some of the chep shots they take by knowing what and when to do it. Mac may not be the toughest but he will stick up for his teamates ,fight anyone , and hopefully be able to play in more situations than most tough guys. GO MAC GO !

First of all you were thinking apout Babcock when you were in bed last night ? Just joking .I dont get to see many games, but if the players are floating around and not going the extra mile to get out of this skid mabe there needs to be a shake up ,the coach is responsible for the way the players preform .Should they sit out some forwards who are not preforming?

I thought I would ask the question. With playoffs just around the corner and how poorly we are playing ,what do you think the chances of a coaching change are? Not many teams go through a slump like this without it even getting mentioned. I now we have a banged up team but we should still be better than this. I can't see it happening but Ottawa was playing better than this .

With the amount of ice time Lidstrom and Rafalski log Im sure the rest wont hurt the it will most likely recharge them .This is a great time to let some of the young prospects get some NHL action playing in all situations ,and possibly show caseing them for traid bait.

The Wings goalies have had it easy most nights this year,it is alot tougher job when the team does not preform and the goalie is always first to blame. I saw the highlights from last night and it looked like Chris was left out to dry . If the team plays the way they can I think our goaltending will be good enough to give us a good shot at the cup,If the team continues to play poorly our goaltending is not good enough .I guess hockey is a team game .Not many teams win games scoring only one goal.
