#2127493 Nicklas Lidstrom likely will be Red Wing next season, too

Hope he dose not ask for 6 mil agian....

Even the 6 million was a cut from his last contract, right? And he has looked better this season. You can't have it both ways, he was never low-balled himself as far as I'm aware of, I don't see that continuing.

Look at it this way, could you spend the 6 million any better? When you ask that, it starts to look more like the discount it is.

The downside of every Wings game day is that I have to see the phrase "severed tendon."

they pay for scouts?

Nope, each randomly drafted Islanders player gets to sign an additional player. This player becomes their "bus-buddy" so that nobody gets lost or traded before an away game.

It sounds to me like he puts losses that are behind him, behind him, and he's complimenting the goalies on their shutouts. Maybe his intonation tells a different story, but I see it as a case of good sportsmanship.

I am catching up (in the beginning of the fifth page) and all of this Modano trashing is bugging me. I have seen no source verifying that Mike Modano mistreats fans or anything like that. I have seen a few guys with the opinion, who probably got it from the same sensationalized report taken way out of context...

How have YOU seen him conduct himself, on the ice, post-game, during interviews? I'll believe it when I see it, because seems like a stand-up guy to me.

Ok, so since the puck had an upward trajectory, and continued to move upward after the collision with Zetterberg's stick, and yet still made it under the crossbar, he cannot have played it with a high stick, right?

How does one lose their hockey sense?

Try watching Chris Drury now compared to Chris Drury in Buffalo. It can happen.
