Well, since I nearly threw up listening to these Syrapuke tools talk on the AHL.com broadcast, I just muted it and pulled up WOOD online and am now listening to the future while I watch the past. GO GRIFFINS!
Damn, hard to believe that the rotten Crunch are up 3-2 after that period. Griffins looked to be possessed for most of it and missed some golden opportunities as they had Syracuse under siege. Still, I'm hopeful they can get their act together and pull out a win for the Cup tonight. C'mon, boys!
Said it before and I'll say it again, Carlo C. sucks the suck out of "suck". What the hell does Babcock see in this guy. Having watched him play when the Griffins played the Aeros here in Houston, I can honestly say that the other 5 kids outplayed him. How is this guy better than Lashoff? Hell, as many gaffs as Smith is having, I'd still take two of him to get rid of Carlo. Yikes. What a waste of money.
Anyway, so far, so good. Jimmy has been good/great when he needed to be. Certainly getting some breaks when we need them. Need to learn our lesson on having a 2 goal lead evaporate. Let's Go Wings!!!

*gag* Why is it that the first pre-season game I get to hear Ken and Mick do is a complete abortion of an effort? Yuck. The Griffins looked about 3 million times better in last night game a Toronto. Then again, I guess they all knew they were playing for a future spot on the team, not just looking to get to the actual games that matter.

Just logged on and checked the recap. Saw this "With a sellout crowd of 18,087 and both teams using much of their "A" lineups, the $321 million arena opened with an almost regular-season intensity." Ummm, on what planet is a Wings team that doesn't dress Lidstrom, Z-bug, Dats, Rafalski, Maltby, Hudler, Draper and Holmstrom "much of their 'A' lineup? Dude, pass that crack pipe over here.
Looks like I need to peruse about 350 posts to figure out how bad the Franzen injury is/was.
Well. That was abysmal. Despite outplaying the Dogs, we're down 3 goals. Nothing seems to want to go in for the Wings. I've seen this f'ing story so many times the last 16 years, it's nauseating. Unless there is a HUGE shift and the Dogs melt down, it looks like it's yet another Game 7 for us on Tuesday. Meanwhile, everyone else will have played at least one less game, no doubt. ARGH. This is so damn aggravating. C'mon, boys. If those steaming piles of fetid ass out in Pittspuke can come back and win, so can we. No more stupid penalties. Capitalize on your chances. Never say die. LETS GO WINGS!
