    J Ericsson - really?

Looks like time to eat my words. JE has thrown the team on his back and is currently leading them in points. Conn Smythe consideration? Lol

    J Ericsson - really?

JE is not the sole reason for the wings struggles. You would think by now his experience would let him "see" the game. His awareness just isn't there. It's disappointing because with his size he could be one of those physically punishing defenseman that's really hard to play against. Instead he's a wimpy turnover machine. Hit somebody, would ya? J Ericsson - really?

Sorry if this has been posted a million times before, but how did this guy make the NHL? Based on size? I cringe every time he handles the puck. What can they do to hide this guys lack of awareness besides benching him? These soft passes that aren't making it out of the defensive zone have to stop. At least clear the zone dude!! PLEASE!

4/12 GDT : Red Wings 2 at Blackhawks 3 (SO)

Why do the Wings let the short handed team continue to out number them in scrums down low? When you have a man advantage you need to use it! Ps Quincey sucks
  6. Howdy! How're you? Happy hockey seasons back?

  7. Wanted to say hello from N CA. How are things?

Red Wings Making Play for Modano

Found this interview with Modano from last weekend. He does sound interested in the Wings..... http://khtk.cbslocal.com/2010/07/15/mike-modano-with-grant-mike/

    Mike Modano

I retract my post after seeing Modo's stats over the past 5 years. Although he could help on the PP, the Wings PP is already awesome. Don't know if he's worth tying up a roster spot for.

    5/16 Playoff Gameday

Please, tell me how the Sharks can go a full game without a penalty. How often does this happen in the new NHL? Even with their one sided blind love for the San Josegay Sharks they couldn't win. Why don't they just give the Sharks a penalty shot, and if they score, they win the cup? I mean sheesh... at least keep it fair. When the Sharks aren't getting powerplays, they are getting beat. Just like today!

Who do you cheer for now?

Lol... the continuation of the Hossa curse? Nothing would be sweeter than Boston hoisting the cup in front of Hossa. Do you think a team would ever want him again if that happened? Would the hawks cut him and ship him to Russia to play with Jagr?

    Let's Talk About the Refereeing

You have to expect the Sharks trolls to come out of the woodwork. They actually won a playoff series for once. We'll see how they sound after getting bounced. They act like they won the cup, but have won nothing, and it will stay that way. To barely squeak by a Red Wings team with a rookie goalie that barely made the playoffs with help from the zebras is nothing to be proud of.

Who do you cheer for now?

Joe Thornton is a *****, plain and simple. He goes around cheapshotting people, yanking on Lids jersey from behind when he's talking to the refs in game 4, but then acts like hes the Wings best friends in the handshake line. Zero respect for that A-hole. Who to cheer for is more of a finding the lesser of two evils. Who NOT to cheer for is more like it. Here are the teams to cheer against: 1. Pittsburgh 2. San Jose (thats almost a tie, but I hate Cindy and Bettman more than I hate the Sharks) 3. Chitcago 4. Vancouver 5. Montreal 6. Boston Hell, go B's! May Chara take off Cindy's pretty little head in Pronger-esc fashion!

    Let's Talk About the Refereeing

I found myself getting frustrated,....wondering if they were finally going to call something against San Jose. When the knee on knee against Filpula occurred, I thought they may even let that go. I was at game 2, and Thornton was skating all over the ice cheap shotting Dats and hooking down others and the refs just turned a blind eye. Detroit was held to a different standard than the Sharks were. If they called the game against the Sharks they way they called it against Bertuzzi, they would have had many many more penalties. Its just ridiculous. Its entertainment and about ratings. Bettman's wet dream of Pittsburgh being the team is still alive and well. Crosby must've been his alter boy.

high stick to Jimmy Howard's face

I was at the game last night and they don't show replays of anything but Sharks highlights. I remember seeing Howard get sticked in the face in the 2nd period, and they called nothing. What was the deal with that? Bad non call? You should have heard the Sharks fans yelling during the national anthem. It showed very little class and I was embarrassed for them.
