Howard IS the reason we even made the playoffs. As it's all ready been stated, the Wings have scored 1 goal total in the 2 games they've lost. Yep, that's a goal tending issue. So I think you gotta "Dance with the one that brought you"

We're all die hard fans, but did anybody really believe we had a chance in this year's playoffs? We got hot to make it in, but all of our deficiencies, that were never addressed by management, are still there.
I assume we'll see Bert and/or Sammy in game two.
That being said, YES. The Ducks are not a scary team. 2 Powerplay goals & an open netter. Half our team played their 1st playoff game. Mule & Abby need to bring what they did last week. if that happens & we stay out of the box, we'll be alright

This looks like the team we've seen for most of the season, not the one that had a fire lit under their asses the past 4 games. Not much jump or intensity at all.

Well damn it anyways, I missed the whole 1st period, least it's still tied. The Wild better score soon, I don't want to miss any of the 2nd!

This could somewhat of a farewell tour for the wings since they are moving east. Start by playing Anaheim who have played a 3 classic/interesting series against each other in the last 10 years. Move on to play one last series(as conference rivals) against Chicago. And finish up against recent rivals San Jose before showing the east what they will have to deal with.
Hmmmmmm, Sharks in the conf final. That's a bold prediction. I like the farewell tour theme, some good PS material right there.

I figure Sammy only gets in if they have a brutal game at this point. As excited as I am to see beet back, who the hell sits after tonights game? I'd imagine tootoo. But even he has been amazing tonight and as we've seen with wings vs preds in the playoffs he can be a factor.
Kind of hard to sit the guy who just had the game winner, I say leave 'em alone. Get them some playing time in Dallas, if things have worked out the way we hope
