And I finally got my wish. Ian White should go to Carolina and give us a 3rd or 4th round pick so we can load up on prospects. I'd rather Huskins come back than White. How are you -2 in an 8-3 win?
But there could be the fear that he'll play for a year under contract, and if he doesn't like it then he bolts to the KHL where he doesn't have to work as hard, and the Wings (or whoever signed him) lose him for nothing.
True but its not like we are giving assets to acquire him. If he bolts he bolts and we dont have to get rid of his contract or pay him if it doesnt work.
Elite or not, as it stands, they have a much stronger roster than us and I'm willing to guarantee that they finish ahead of us in the standings next season.
How much will you donate to a charity of the community's choice if you're wrong?
Maybe Kenny will sign Parise and Suter and trade Franzen and Flip and a 1st for Bobby Ryan...this way we keep Gus...

Get it done, Kenny! Honestly, I would take him over Parise, but in reality, trade Anaheim a package that includes Filppula and get both Ryan & Parise...oh and Suter....
