I dont like it.  One of my favorite things about Barry Sanders was the class he displayed on the field.  He would score a TD, hand the ball to the ref and walk off the field.

Why do people keep talking about Zetterberg hitting Weber in the head.  I have watched the replay 10 times now and I don't see any contact at all.

Bad call but the ref who called it was behind the play and probably only saw the head jerk back thinking an something made contact with his head.  Beautiful textbook hit.  Arm and elbow down and skates on the ice.

Agree...these guys need to know when to stop throwing punches.  This includes when a player is down,when a player is being held by a linesman, when a player is obviously hurt and when a player is not looking.  

No excuse...once the linesman get in there...it is over.

I found this interesting, but hard to swallow from someone who hurt the integrity of the game constantly with dives and whining about officiating.  Sounds like more complaining to me, but what do you think?

I am kind of curious what he things the suspensions should have been.  I am also curious to know what he thinks about the length of Matt Cookes suspension.  He is asking for the league to send a message.  Should't they FINALLY send a message to a guy who has injured multiple players with his cheap, dirty play ?

I couldnt agree more.  I just watched the game and that was the exact thing that doesnt belong in hockey.  I hate the Penguins as much as the next guy but if he lands that punch he could end Talbots career.  Blind sided sucker punches should result in a 25 game suspension minimum.

Oh and yes I think Mccarty should have been suspended for what he did t Lemieux.

And yeah he lost the Ballard fight i wouldn't say he got his "ass kicked", he lost pretty decisively, but he didn't get ko'd or anything, but at least he dropped the gloves with him and took some shots. You bash him because he ragdolls, you bash him because he wears a visor, you bash him because he doesn't challenge fighters, you bash him because he loses a fight, you bash him because he fights, you bash him because he doesn't fight. Ahh jealousy...

I didn't bash him for anything above.  I said he doesn't fight fighters, which he doesn't.  I bash him because he attacked the Panther player in a crying baby fit.  I bash him because he whines.  I bash him because he goes after people when he is frustrated.  He is a hell of a player but I would respect him more if he just played and didn't try fighting guys because he is losing and frustrated.

A great example is when he went after Zetterberg with about 10 cross checks to his back all because the baby was shut down.  What did you think about him going after Z like that ?
