#2257212 Rick Nash "available for the right team/price"

Posted by Crashnburnluder on 15 February 2012 - 03:19 PM

I forgot who posted it but someone Saying bout giving up a star which I disagree about.... I don't see stars getting swapped much. Besides Heatley for Havlat.... Look at the bigger names. Kovalchuk, Richards, Carter, thornton heck even Burns it's usually up and comers plus prospects picks.... Especially from a team that's in the "Fail for Nail" process

Side note.... I would never do it for loyalty reason but... Id be willing to move Z for Nash and let Filppula have second line center lol.... But I love Z too much but he is slowly decreasing in production...

#2250229 Datsyuk No 1 Pick for All Star

YEPPPPPPP

Is that you Dave Hester? Lol. (Storage Wars?)

Geno and Pav both need to dominate the puck and the center of the ice imo if you want them at their absolute best. They both need to freewheel their own thing and they can't both play center. If this were Team Russia that we're talking about then it's different because the players are always much more flexible when it comes to a gold medal. An 82 game NHL season? Not so much.

Hossa, well, we've seen that before. They're both great players for sure. At the same time, they just didn't have great chemistry imo for whatever reason.

Kane? Definitely worth a trial look. At the same time, it's kind of like Malkin. If you're going to play next to Pav you simply won't get the puck as much. Kane is a guy that to me needs to hog the puck a little to play well.

I will agree that a lot of these players like the puck and wsnt the puck... But it makes me drool a little think about a PP that has Homer in front and datsyuk feeding Malkin for one timers....

which usually translate to goalie standing on his head against wings and getting 50 shots against shutout or 1 goal against.. bastards!

Well Kevin Poulin is currently on a 3 game shutout streak in the AHL soooo, every streak needs to come to an end right...

Posted by Crashnburnluder on 09 January 2012 - 02:44 PM

I don't know what's funnier... The fact that they just dropped the puck, or the fact the Blues somehow didn't get it out of the zone... Instead the D forces it up the boards where the players were just huddled... I wish they would have turned it over and got scored against....

#2243366 Pittsburg Easiest Team to Beat in NHL

Posted by Crashnburnluder on 08 January 2012 - 11:36 PM

I will just say this: Pittsburgh sports fans are the worst! They are hard to handle. So the fact that their Hockey team is having problems and their Football team just lost a playoff game makes me very happy.

Idk.... Have you been to Philly.. I think they might be worse

My buddy just called up HBO (has directv) and said they were thinking about purchasing HBO but weren't sure yet if they wanted to buy it. Directv gave them a 6 month preview. You cold always try that route...

#2235197 Crosby has "concussion symptoms"

Posted by Crashnburnluder on 13 December 2011 - 01:07 AM

When bobby orr's career ended early, the NHL found a way to survive. I think we will be a okay. The only money the NHL is band wagon Pitt fans, and the money to reprint all the ad's with Crosby already all over them...

Does it suck to to lose a star player, yes. Will it hurt the NHL greatly, NO.

#2235109 Crosby has "concussion symptoms"

Posted by Crashnburnluder on 12 December 2011 - 05:59 PM

I could careless, yes he is a good player, but as a whole I don't buy the he is good for the game thing. Every player in the NHL is good for the game. On the end I'll take losing one of our many stars to not have him as a player being shoved down my throat... Yes it is sad to see but thats what I call Matt Cooke Karma. There weren't a milliOn press conferences for Savard. Yet for done reason he gets treated like a long. When he is blowing every NHL'er out of the water with points. Then I'll consider him the hands down best player. Until then he is just a star player like the Sedins, datsyuk, Malkin, Giroux, Ovie, and a bunch more.

Yes, Detroit might of done okay, but how in a million years you take two franchises and screw them (Fla, TB) just to get the Capitals in the Atlantic is a complete joke. Yea we got out okay, but I would have rather been in the north east with Montreal Toronto buffalo and Boston and such

#2232924 Miller Ran again

Posted by Crashnburnluder on 05 December 2011 - 11:18 AM

No suspension. At most he deserved 2 minutes. He tried to go around Ehrhoff, and couldn't easily do it. He ended up in a situation where he was charging the net hard with the puck and his options were to try and score (and possibly crash into Miller) or to throw himself onto the goal. I bet that would have been amusing.

Or go around the net since the puck was long gone, or atleast attempt to slow down or brace both players for the hit like Z did a couple nights ago behind the net. Instead he decided his best move was try to jump over a 6' goalie while leading with his shoulder and elbow at his head. It's Jordan Tootoo??? They guy is known for chespshots, taking runs and sucker punches lol....

As for Being a flop.... Tell me 1 NHL goalie that would take either of those hits and not go down. Let alone get up and finish or attempt to finish the game. Infact half the goalies in the league would have played dead in the net after the tootoo hit. I'm sorry but Miller jumping Tootoo is exactly what Howard would do if he got up. Hence why we have seen Howard chuck blockers before (Crosby). Is Howard a ***** because he didn't straight up challenge Crosby to a fight??? Cause I believe we all praised him for standing up for him self and teammates....

#2232252 Brothers love

Posted by Crashnburnluder on 02 December 2011 - 11:02 PM

I guess I'm going to be the opposite in this thread. Do I think he would drop the mitts no. Do I think if lucic had his head down and Drew had a chance to make him feel it I think he would give him a little extra, come up a little high. At the end of the day if you hate a player you hate him. Im assuming Drew doesn't like Lucic at this point. Would he two hand the guy and get suspended no but i would think he would make sure he finishes his check everytime and gives him a little extra given the chance... Not to just defend his brother but because he doesn't like the guy...
