#2523602 Spezza Requests Trade

Posted by Jesusberg on 12 June 2014 - 11:25 AM

I disagree he has decent size IIRC. And is a short term answer at 2c until we see if Weiss will be and a long term answer at 1c once dat retires. He is a perfect guy to have for the next 4-8 years depending how long he maintains his level of play.

Yup just looked 6 3 220. AND for those who don't know....IS A RIGHTY

He might be 6'3, and 220... but he's also S-A-W-F-T, saaaawft.

As far as his actual destination, I think a Spezza for Kesler swap makes a ton of sense, but I'm sure they'd want to tweak it beyond a straight up deal.

Or if Cleary is signed after the season starts alfie will already have the number

Or if he never comes back at all....we won't have a problem:)

#2391571 WCQF: (7) Red Wings vs. (2) Ducks

Posted by Wing-in-avs-town on 28 April 2013 - 11:49 PM

This could somewhat of a farewell tour for the wings since they are moving east. Start by playing Anaheim who have played a 3 classic/interesting series against each other in the last 10 years. Move on to play one last series(as conference rivals) against Chicago. And finish up against recent rivals San Jose before showing the east what they will have to deal with.

Hmmmmmm, Sharks in the conf final. That's a bold prediction. I like the farewell tour theme, some good PS material right there.

I believe it has all to do with potential.

For the older players (Cleary, Sammy, Bertuzzi, Abby, Miller, Eaves) it is the POTENTIAL to perform at a high level that keeps them IN the lineup.

For the young studs it is the POTENTIAL to screw up that keeps them OUT of the lineup.

#2342412 1/19: Red Wings 0 at St. Louis Blues 6

Posted by wingfan1991 on 19 January 2013 - 10:53 PM

Well, mark it down. I really don't I've ever seen a uglier game than this. I've seen ugly games, but they were so obviously fluky. You knew it was a good team having an awful night. This is not a good team, at all.

Couple years ago late in season lost 10-2 to blues at the Joe! A week later lost 8-0 to CBJ.

Hey, if these rumor starters are a bunch of liars, at least we get the benefit of having something to discuss... however frivolous. :cheesy:
