Just began watching this mini series on Netflix instant queue and it's surprisingly excellent. It's the sequel to "Pillars of the Earth" that takes place 300 years later in the midst of King Edward's reign and the black plague. Anyone into medieval television shows like Game of Thrones should give this a look.

 

More importantly and with relevance, everytime I see King Edward appear on the show, my mind continues to think "King Datsyuk" because there are some resemblances in appearance and facial expressions. It's probably a combination of the hair, eyebrows, and alien shaped head but am I crazy here or does anyone else think this dude looks similar?

 

I'm currently involved with a NHL 13 GM connected league, I've recently been creating NHL banners for the league members with their corresponding team, gamertag, and requested player that may be on their team. I posted up a link below if anyone wants to check out some of the work i've done, it's NHL related so I figured it would interest some.

So the news hit that made fans of Star Wars both rejoyce and cringe. Walt Disney is the proud new owner of Star Wars and plans on releasing 3 new movies beginning with Episode VII in 2015.

There's been a lot of mixed opinions, but my personal stance is excitement. Considering the success of the Pirates of the Caribbean films and the visual impressiveness of John Carter, I think Star Wars may be in good hands.

I'm excited about what's coming in the future, and I know theres a few SW fans on these boards. Thoughts and opinions of SW going to Disney? Are you excited or dreading the future of the franchise?
