    Prediction

Bruce Garrioch reports the following: - The Phoenix Coyotes may be shopping for goaltending depth and are also looking to move Mike Comrie, but teams are more interested in forward Shane Doan, whom the 'Yotes don't plan to move.

    Prediction

sounds reasonable, also maybe we could try to package some deal that included Laraque and maybe get some toughness. Getting Laraque would also be helpful in allowing us to not play Brad Norton. But I see Doan is already making 3.3 Million and I would just be worried about us potentially giving up some good prospects, becuase it is kind of the consenses around the league we have one of the better farm systems around, and them him asking for too high a price when it comes time to resign him.

    Kevin Jones

Now I know this guy ad a pretty good rookie year, but since then he has not impressed me. So far this year he has more fumbles than he does touchdowns and is on pace for 830 yards, which would be half as bad if we actually used other people in our running game. The only real upside to him is he is the only half way consistent reciever, other than Mike Furrey and Roy Williams at time. So I pose the question do you.......do you think we should continue using th eone back system with Kevin Jones or do you think we should actually give Brian Calhoun more than two carries in four games and maybe begin to use a multiback system like last year?

    2006 ALCS: Tigers vs. A's

Now everybody says the Wings are soft, what can we do to change that? I think Holland should sign former Tiger reliever Kyle Farnsworth. God for bid a batter charged the mound with Kyle up there, cause that batter was gonna get his ass kicked. Farnsworth should be our enforcer

    Matt Ellis

I was reading on Red Wings Central about our prospects and was pretty impressed when I ran across Matt Ellis. Living in Florida I rarely have the chance to see the Wings play, let alone the Griffins, but I was wondering if he lived up to the 'elite two-way forward' that he is described as? And if he is such a good two-way forward why have him behind Filppula, Hudler, Kopecky, and Bootland in the call-up order. I understand, with the exception of Bootlander, they are prospected to be able to hold their own offensively, but after last night I dont think we have much of a problem scoring. Just a though..............

    Bondra to wings?

I totally agree. Instead of going after a 38 year old winger why dont we go after a young power forward?

    Pens shopping Fleury?

Well Belfour is exactly in his prime, the guy is 41 and was barely average last year with Toronto. And, I know the season is still young, but Belfour was lit up for 4 goals and was pulled after 26 minutes in his first game for the Panthers and it wont get any better for him as the season progresses. Trading for Fleury would be a great idea for an iffy pair of goaltenders
