I don't remember if it was on here or HF but someone said that post game interview of Toews looking shocked that they lost is hilarious. let's see him get REALLY shocked if they get bounced by us! Wings can do this! Babcock and the coaching staff know how to do something that is extremely hard to do against Chicago : neutralize their offensive by playing a puck possession, physical, grinding game. 3 more. This team really can do it...

Pretty quiet over on HFboards today from the Hawks fan huh? I don't really take them too seriously, there are far too many trolls on that main board that post all the time just to read their own replies, but through in through, this was the best game Detroit played this year. Period. If Detroit can keep this up they really will have a real chance to win this series.

I feel ya buddy, they have no class out here, I mean act like you've been there before. All those beat Detroit chants are hilarious I just take it as respect because they're so desperate to be us but they'll never be.
Chicago is great now sure, but the Red Wings have been a solid team for over 20+ years. Years and years of being among the worst team in the league builds up an inferiority complex.

not the best 2nd but what's most important is the game is tied. Come out aggressive in the 3rd and good things will happen.

I'd say the Red Wings almost won that period. If they would've had the lead, I'd say yes. Finishing their checks, taking a lot of shots (sans Cleary). I like how this team has started out. Keep it coming well have a good shot.

Keep the game defensively tight. Make the final 3-1 or 4-1. I want to witness some Ducks goonery on the way to Chicago!!! Lets go!

Detroit's forecheck has been noticeably stronger in this game so far perhaps more than any other time this series

win the next 2 periods Detroit. That Abby move made him look like he scores 40 goals a year...what an absolutely amazing individual play to have his stick in the way, steal the pass, and race away from the backcheck and still score.. geez this game already has me going crazy
