The end of the "Mebdeech" era is offically over with Lebda going to Toronto at a laughable contract and Meech being waived.

Maltby can be a great mentor to the kids in GR. He can show 'em a lot of tips and tricks, maybe some "get under the skin" tactics too. He was always one of the best pests in the NHL making guys that played against him come unhinged on the ice. It was awesome to see over these last 13-14 years.
As a member of the Grind Line (Maltby, Draper, Kocur) and Grind Line Mark II (Maltby, Draper, McCarty) he has played a significant role in this frnachises history and success. To hear anyone who claims to be a Wings fan diss him......that's just utter bulls*** and I'm ashamed to be reading it.
