Helm to Toronto?
Larkin 3rd line c?!?!?!
This is the only thing I can think of that would make a trade matter for Larkin.

Helm isn't going anywhere , seriously doubt it he can play the wing as well and has a ton of speed

Tell Babs when he comes calling for glendening to pay up a 1st or take a hike lol

#2609663 Babcock says good-bye in full page ad. SIAP

Posted by LeftWinger on 22 May 2015 - 11:08 AM

Hopefully the first time TO is in Detroit, the organization puts together a nice presentation for him, so the fans can cheer and say goodbye.  Maybe just his picture on the scoreboard and announcer saying that the fans and team would like to thank him for 10 years of great hockey!  Crowd erupts, Babcock cries, then Mrazek shut's out the leafs....perfect night.

Maybe he's buying Babcock's old house, which used to be Osgood's.

Datsyuk doesn't like hand me downs, on the other hand, I recently found out that Babcock does; things that are in despair and need a lot of work

#2609008 It's Official: Babcock to coach Maple Leafs

Posted by Hey man nice shot! on 20 May 2015 - 01:39 PM

Thanks Babs for everything. In my opinion he's top 2 coach in NHL. I can't wish you a good luck but again thanks for all these years.

Welcome to Blash and I hope that Kenny will improve this team and I'm not talking about bringing Zidlicky back... We need to get tougher

So we can beat the hell out of our division rival the Toronto Mapleleafs.

That much for a coach is ridiculous. I would have been happy to keep Babs but I'm almost just as happy to have a new coach. Now let the media circus really begin. Our downfall and Toronto's road to the Stanley Cup. It will be nice beating on Toronto and I'll enjoy everything bad that happens to them. Gotta admit, I lost a bit of respect for Babs.

I feel like we have this same conversation every year after we get eliminated.

I'm pretty sure you don't just feel like, but that we have this discussion about Kronner every year since Lidstrom left. You'd think that they would stop, at least after we shut down one of the best offenses in the NHL.....

Kind of surprised that it could be 4-0 ... a real possibility.  Oh well, more butt hurt that we didn't take care of business when we were up 3-2 cuz Montreal could have been an easy out.

As I said in previous pages, how do you know Montreal would have been an easy way out?  We don't score goals like Tampa Bay can.  And we didn't own Montreal and Price the way Tampa Bay did in the regular season. Other way around, in fact.

I just wanted to watch two more weeks of playoff hockey and witness an original 6 matchup. That's what I'm most butt hurt about.

Here's the thing I think about as a fan.  Instead of being pissed off that Tyler Johnson is good, or "hating him" because he looks like a maidmer (like a mermaid, but with a fish top-half), I want to know why he's playing so well.  I mean, he's not bigger, faster, or more skilled than Gustav Nyquist or Tomas Tatar.  He wasn't noticeably better than them during the regular season.  He's not fundamentally more clutch.  He doesn't have a better draft pedigree, or winning tradition. In fact, our own Griffins outshone him in the Calder Cup.

So why is Tyler Johnson carrying his team in the the Conference finals, while our young guys fell flat?  Figuring out the answer to that should be the organization's biggest priority, and it's certainly what interests me as a fan of the team.

I was mad at TB when they won the round over us, I just didn't like the crying and whining from their coach.  And yes, I was mad because Wings HAD the series in the bag, and then let it go.  A great team finds a way to win.  The Wings didn't quite have it together (again) in the playoffs.  Makes me sad, but there it is, can't change anything about it.

TB should have a massive chip on their collective shoulders, since Montreal swept them last season, round one.  Bolts were missing Bishop, who got injured... it was tough to watch.  Now that they are healthy, I expect them to win vs. the Habs, assuming Stamkos gets back on track and stays there.

While I was not happy with TB moving on and not us, now I want them to win this round.  That way it's more evident that the better team did advance, and we can feel better about losing to them.  Weird logic, I know.  ;)

Just imagine how the Wings would be faring against them right now.

It's possible the Wings would be down 3-0 to the Habs.

Either way - I find it humorous.

I love seeing Montreal losing like this.  I don't care who is winning.  I just like watching them lose.

I hope this series goes 7 and wears on them both as much as possible, with Game 7 going to quadruple OT.

Right, I thought he was in a coma or something. You mean he's perfectly okay?

He told them he was ok afterwards and that he didn't think it was a dirty hit.  Unfortunately, today's NHL counts that as a sign of head injury.  Normal Bolts dive and whine.
