you guys care about diving way to much. its just guys doing whatever they can to win a game and draw a penalty. watch a basketball game, they fall every time they shoot to draw a penalty. i hate that. but i dont think diving in hockey is a huge reason to not like a player.
I do. It is particularly offensive to me and I lose all respect for floppers. I'm old school too and although players in the past would cheat any way they could, diving was frowned on.

My Bruins, Oilers, and Van fan brothers were less than pleased.

Because they were in Michigan. I grew up with them, and just like the Lions, Tigers and Pistons, they were my team.

I never thought the Wings had a snowball's chance in hell of winning the cup this season. Not after a first round knockout last season and then losing all the key players that you mentioned.
I've been content with watching the kids develop this season and they've been a more than pleasant surprise.

Don't remember the date, but the Wings were down 2-0 in Chicago 4-5 years ago and had been outplayed most of the game.
Detroit scored a goal with 16 seconds left.
Dats then scored with less than a second left in regulation to tie. The goal went to review to see if the clock had run down. It was a good goal and the Wings went on to win in OT.
