My point was that swapping Smith for Kindl would not have made any difference because Kindl didn't play. Which defenceman would you have taken out to put Smith in? Stuart? Kronwall? Lids? Quincey? White? Ericsson?

Quincey, Ericsson, or Stuart. They were all bad in this series.

Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong, but taking a winger who has no experience at playing center and putting him in that position will mean a very hard time for him. There's more to playing center than just taking faceoffs.

Playing center is not really rocket science, the centerman is responsible for the middle of the ice and is to help out the defense down low and to pick up the extra guy in the slot.

Faceoffs are actually really important for a center to be good at or whats the point of playing center if you can't win a faceoff. It scares me to think of Cleary or Miller trying to take a faceoff at a crucial point in the game if they get stuck out on the ice.

I'd actually like to see Sheahan instead of Emmerton as the 4th line center. Bigger body who can throw some hits on the Nashville defense and he can't be any worse on faceoffs than Emmerton.

On Crosby:

"He said after he came back from his 35th concussion, 'I'm not going to do this anymore, I'm not going to get into those scrums, I'm going to stay away from that stuff' but he couldn't help himself because there is a little punk in Crosby. He's not the perfect gentleman, he's not that little sweet kid you see in all those interviews with his hat pulled down over his eyes. I say screw him, hit him."

I always though Milbury was kind of a jackass but I think I agree with him here.
