A 35 year old power forward?   Calgary's going to want to cash in big because he's their franchise, but you don't see very many power forwards lasting this long and being effective and its not like we're one piece away from a championship here.  I think we need scoring, but I can't even imagine giving Calgary that much for a guy that will probably be a just a rental and won't be nearly as effective as he was in the past.  Let some other franchise throw away their future for a rental.

LOL - I do - for entertainment.  If you threw as much s*** out there as he did you'd "break" a couple deals too.  (Please don't bother posting his "record" - his other slappies have already covered that).
He repackages info already out there, claims it as his own, and makes leaps of logic (like connecting the wings to damn near every defenseman that can skate backwards) he attributes to "insiders".  The guys been called out as a liar by several GMs, most notably by Ray Shero after his Parise verbal agreement with Pens BS.

An offer sheet was the only chance we had of getting Weber.  I'm sure I don't know a whole lot about how the whole front office thing works but I'd be willing to bet there was no chance in hell that Poile was trading Weber to us.  I'm hoping Kenny would be smart enough to realize that as well.  I understand he doesn't like the whole idea of signing other team's RFA's but I feel like if there was ever a time to go for broke and do it, this was it.

I totally agree.  Really, what's the worst that could happen?  We lose some picks we usually don't have and Kenny strains his relationship with Pollie?

Listen,  I understand this is a big decision, but come on, this is getting utterly ridiculous.
Did these guys seriously not realize they were going to get offers from every fuchin team?  Forget about all the other UFA millionaires out there waiting on these two descisions so they can sign with a club and make their family adjustments - what about the fans?
I took today off just so I could sit in front of a computer all day and wait out a couple decisions (and I'm sure I'm not the only one) and what have a got?  I'm cranky as s*** because I'm running on too little sleep and too much caffeine, my wife is upset because I've just been sitting around the house and now I need a new F5 key!

Suter is even worse!  I know he's made a list, how could you not? He has had at least 6 weeks since his season ended - this is your career dips*** - you could have done your due dillegence and researched the teams/cities/schools or whatever questions you had well in advance of July 1.  Lazy fuch!
I hate that I care about this so much, but I can't help it.  For the love of GOD, somebody do something!

This leads me to believe:
1. Hudler and Holmstrom are gone.
2. There's a salary dump/trade coming.
3. It's probably just wishful thinking.
