#2174412 Congratulations to the Sharks

Posted by Ozzie30 on 12 May 2011 - 11:06 PM

Am I the only one who doesn't feel like watching the rest of the playoffs?

Just can't stand it knowing we're out so early.

That's my first reaction...I usually turn a game back on in the finals.

Ericsson: I loath you.

Anyone blaming Howard is clueless. We need better TEAM defense.

#2156935 Few Potential Game 7s...

Extra rest Would be nice. I'm half-assed rooting for Nashville and Chicago - only cause I don't want to deal with more 10:30 games.

Been thinking about this one for awhile. Going back soon for the Olympia and JLA, plus some other stuff to fill in.

#2140126 Coyotes or Thrashers to Winnipeg

Posted by Ozzie30 on 02 April 2011 - 02:21 AM

TSN - Dave Naylor

Basically states that the NHL could allow either of theses teams to move up to Winnipeg next season. If it happens and the Thrashers find themselves planted directly in the middle of the Western Conference, I don't see how the Wings are kept out of east. Because the Wings are a huge draw in every market and have really helped attendance in the unorthodox hockey markets out west, I can see Bettman screwing them. How? Technically speaking, Columbus is a bit (and I mean minuscule) further east, but the Wings have been fighting this fight much longer than the BJs and I think Illitch would absolutely lose his s*** if they're moved ahead of his team.

I hope Crosby is selected last.

#2077046 Milestone Watch - Chris Osgood Approaching 400 Career Wins

Posted by Ozzie30 on 13 December 2010 - 11:12 AM

1.Martin Brodeur, 602
2.Patrick Roy, 551
3.Ed Belfour, 484
4.Curtis Joseph, 454
5.Terry Sawchuk, 447
6.Jacques Plante, 437
7.Tony Esposito, 423
8.Glenn Hall, 407
9.Grant Fuhr, 403

These are the guys ahead of him now, he'll probably end up 8th all time, but I think he has an outside chance at passing Esposito. He's in pretty good company here - all of them are destined for the HOF if they're not there already.
Even though Ozzie's struggles are well documented, he has always been consistent and you can't ask much more of a NHL goaltender than that.

Agree. Never had anything against Meech.

The only thing I ever had against Meech is he isn't Quincy.
