what "security"? the guy has a signed contract through end of 2014-2015 season. you honestly think he puts his own agenda over that of winning hockey games? huh? this team has been totally gutted over the last few years and we are still right there in the hunt and competitive, what more do you want from a coach?

pointless thread, he is an old man, what do you expect? we're still lucky to have him showing up, most owners his age would be in florida. i sure hope people don't judge the way i look and act when i'm 83. i'm not saying i have a problem with threads criticizing mike illitch, but his appearance? come on guys.

It's so awesome that I pay to get NBC, NBC Sports, NHL Network, and NHL CenterIce yet can't watch this game in the 3rd largest media market in the country.

I live in the 3rd largest television market in the country. I have NBC, Versus, NHL Network, and NHL Center Ice and i'm unable to watch this game. This my friends, is a complete joke!
