Cleary signed a 5-year, $14-million contract extension on March 11th, 2008. Cleary's new salary cap hit of $2.8-million will take effect starting in 2008-09. The contract also includes a no-trade clause for the first three years of the contract and a portion of the fourth season. Cleary will be an unrestricted free agent on July 1st, 2013.

FLAWS: He was hyped too early, so his work ethic suffered greatly as a result. It has improved tremendously as of late though. Must also prove he can step up his game when given added responsibilities.
