Wikipedia is not a scholarly source. Anyone can change anything on there, which makes it unreliable. If you tried to use Wikipedia as a source on a college paper your professor would probably shoot you. It doesn't matter, I just think it's funny when people think "well it's on Wikipedia so it must be true!" One time in one of my classes a student tried to pull up a Wikipedia article about the great barrier reef and it came up as "the *** barrier reef" because someone had changed it. My prof then proceeded to tell him why Wikipedia was the suckiest thing in the world....it was pretty funny. But anyway, I don't know if this petition will do much, but I sure hope it does. Someone should send it to FSN when we get a ton of signatures! Anything to get the word out...
