I like Eaves playing, but benching Tootoo is really stupid. Get Abdelkader or Cleary out. They are the two least productive forwards on the team right now by far. Even Emmerton's hustle and PK ability lately has more value. -

Haha, I didn't see that but I like the way you think. It makes more sense for Babcock to at least try Z and Pavel together again now with Filppula back to center the second line. Nyquist is being wasted on the third line too. -

Our prospects have to hate this organization sometimes. Tatar plays very well and gets sent down. Cleary and Abdelkader do nothing and get big minutes with Pavel Datsyuk.

All these home games are done now. I'm not sure the Red Wings banked enough points during them unfortunately. The schedule gets grueling now and they are going to have to win on the road to get in. What a pathetic weekend. -

Just put Z and Pavel together already. I'd rather have one line with potential than two lines of nothing. Moving pieces around doesn't suddenly make Cleary, Abdelkader or Franzen productive. Babs is just spreading out the crap -- the combinations are irrelevant. -
Can we take a shot with the overripe Nyquist very soon? I don't think it would hurt to inject some actual skill into the top-six.

Tom Renney has been as effective of a move as Samuelsson. Maybe less because at least Samuelsson isn't hurting the team right now.

The Red Wings can't handle this forecheck at all. The defense can't move the puck out.

That was embellishment, but I agree with Mickey. It can't be both. At least Abdelkader is gone for two minutes.
