I think Mrazek should definitely start on Thursday and then you go from there. If the Wings make the playoffs, I still believe Howard starts Game 1, but more importantly they need to get there first.

Certainly possible. The Wings remaining game against both Ottawa and Boston will be massive.

This opinion could/probably will change very quickly if Kindl plays more again, but he does kinda bring something the Wings are sorely lacking on defense. He's a liability defensively, but so is everyone else besides Kronwall right now and at least Kindl has some offensive upside. He really does do a nice job of getting pucks through on net.

Cam Ward? I mean, there are instances of it happening. Especially since there's this vocal consensus here that Mrazek is ready and will magically turn around the team's fortunes. You keep building in scenarios where you don't want Mrazek to play, so what is your goaltending solution if Howard isn't the answer?

Nope, I completely agree with you. Rough game for Jimmy no doubt, but the same crowd that will never acknowledge his good moments, are going to pounce all over this one. I don't care who is in goal for the Wings anymore. They just need to win games and quickly.

Yikes, worst loss of the season given the opponent and dire need for points in the standings. Wings controlled most of the play, but they gotta find a way to win that game. Hopefully Pav and Kronner are back Thursday and Cole isn't seriously hurt. This is a full-fledged desperate situation to even get into the playoffs now.

Tatar! Kindl actually does a great job getting pucks through. Probably his only strength. Jurco made a nice play too. He needs to stay on the kid line and have some skilled company.
