If they both did/do it as consistently as Monster has, then they probably would. Howard has more than proven he plays better for longer stretches than Monster ever has in his career.

You are just spot-picking. Jimmy also stole them two points in Chicago and was very good against Montreal too. I don't know where you get this idea Jimmy isn't reliable. If anything, he has been incredibly consistent this season.

Never thought I would be so disappointed that Kyle Quincey was missing time. A part of that is due to Quincey's play this season and the other part is the Red Wings defense just isn't very good. Ericsson and Kindl in the top-four isn't a very assuring situation.

Kronner! He had a rough night, but what a move to win it. Not sure I can call that the "best" game of the season, though certainly the most exciting. The Wings just never quit. Even when they aren't playing their best, impressive resolve to keep competing and get a huge two points. -

Haven't really played all that well outside some stretches the past five games. Pens and Jets games were bad. Canadiens and Blackhawks had their moments and outside of the first ten minutes tonight, the Wings haven't looked good. Toughest part of the schedule so they just need to survive February, but the efforts have been rather disappointing of late. -
